I knew you were trouble when you walked in

I hate cell phones sometimes. Especially when people will connect with you to ask you do some work.

"Hey ,dad," I said mentally groaning.

"Lisa dear, I want you at the company in ten minutes. I have some work for you." He said sounding more like a boss than a father minus the dear thing.

"Dad, I am in school. I have classes, remember?"

"I have talked to your principal. Go get your pass." He said as if this was expected.

I sighed.

Perks of having rich and famous parents. I went to get my pass to get out of school.

"Leaving again?" Samantha asked.

She was the shy, nerdy girl who I helped when she was being bullied. Since then we are friends. But she thought that our status was some kind of barrier and felt the burden to be friends with me. Her logic confused me. When does one ask for status before becoming friends?

"Yeah, work. Its like I don't have time for school. I wonder something how does Peter Parker plays the part of being both a student and a superhero?" The nerd in Samantha can understand the nerd in me.

She giggled at my statement.

"Need help?" She asked.

She always talked that way, like it was forbidden to talk to me, few words, hidden in the shadows.

"Elise Stuart, helping a charity case!" Jenna Marshall, the bitch said smiling deviously at me.

"When did I ever help you, Marshall?" I asked snickering at her.

She rolled her eyes and walked away giving a taunting look to Sam. No one messes with me, I have Leah Stuart for sister, the cover of almost all the ad agency in this world. Note the exaggeration here.

"Apologies for her behaviour," Brad said smiling up to me and Sam.

Brad was Jenna's brother and also my dancing classmate. We both attended the same dance school which was also under my father's music label.

"Nah, it's fine Brad, I can manage few drama queens on my own," I said shrugging lightly.

"We will be meeting at the label then?" He said already in his dancing shoes.

I nodded.

"Sam, Elise, see you later then." He said and my eyes flickered to Sam who was blushing.

Yeah, she had a crush on Brad Watson, the school's dashing dancer. His dad was this big musical producer. So basically our school was filled with rich people and sometimes I detested that I was rich, it made me stick out like a sore thumb. The rich but shadowed girl and I can't even hate Leah for that because I loved her too much.

"Sam, when will you say it out loud?"I asked bumping my shoulder into hers lightly.

"What?" She mumbled obviously embarrassed making me laugh.

The poor girl herself doesn't know she likes a guy. I guess I had to play cupid to them.

"Fine Sam, catch you later."

"Sure, work hard Lisa."She said now plugging in her earphone.

"What are you listening to?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Weston Hamilton." She said with a sigh her eyes all glassy.

I groaned loudly smacking my head. Just one hater, I need a hater to boost my morale.
