As I make an afternoon snack for Judith when she wakes up I hear yelling from outside for the gates to open. I waddle outside to see rick coming inside the gates. Carl shows up from behind me. As Rick finishes talking I try to wrap this around my brain. "Wait let me get this straight? My dad Is on his bike with a car next to him with a woman who got trapped by like 20 walkers and some man who is too stubborn to see when something bad might happen leading like 500 WALKERS!?!" I say yelling but not loud enough for anyone besides Rick and Carl to hear. "Y-yes" Rick says obviously scared of me. Everyone one knows not to make a Dixon mad. But the world knows not to make Anna Dixon-Grimes mad, ESPECIALLY if she's PREGNANT. I punch Rick in the stomach, hard, and walk off down the street. Carl didn't come after me he knew I needed some time to cool off. I turn the corner to come face to face with Ron. "Go away you dick" "Feisty today aren't we" He says "I said go away" I say again harsher. He grabs my wrist and pushes me up against the wall of the house"Kiss me" He says "No, I am MARRIED and PREGNANT. Both are followed by happily now leave me alone!" I say madly. "Fine but you'll be sorry Dixon" He says letting go "It's Mrs. Grimes!" I state choosing not to use the real change because of the hyphenation and I glair at him before walking off. I don't know who to talk to anymore! I know I can talk to Carl but I need someone like Beth. A best friend that's a girl. As I walk back to the house I get scared, again. What if the walkers get in? What if daddy dies? What if- Anna knock it off! I think back to before when I lived with daddy. "Sophie!!!" I giggle to the taller blond. It's a late summer day at our summer cabin. "Let's go listen to the radio" I say in attempt to get my best friend out of hiding. "Ok!" She pops out from behind a tree. "Found ya" I shout. "Whatever!" We run to my old beat up cabin and we sit on my classic wood rocking chairs that old people in movies sit in. I turn on my faded pink boom box and our favorite song comes on. I look at mine and Sophie's bare feet in our summer dresses. Mine was yellow with blue daisies and Sophie's was red with black daisies. We start singin' away

"I'm too young to think about forever

I'm just thinkin' 'bout this Friday night

I love not knowin' where we're going

And dancin' with the boy I kinda like

I want to make all my mistakes

While I'm young enough to make

Them once or twice

Or maybe three times

'Cause I ain't looking for my

Prince Charming on a horse,

No once upon a time ain't

Where I'm at

Yeah I don't need a Mr, tryin'

To fit that perfect slipper

On my foot there's always time for that

So I'm gonna spend all summer long

Sittin' on this river log,'

Cause right now there ain't nothing

Wrong with having fun and Kissin' frogs

Right now the only thing that matters

Is the radio and cherry lip gloss on

I'm happy without happy ever after

Yeah, a little makin' out don't hurt

No one I wanna have a little fun

Someday I'm gonna find the one that's right

But not tonight'

Cause I ain't looking for my

Prince Charming on a horse,

No once upon a time ain't

Where I'm at

Yeah I don't need a Mr, tryin'

To fit that perfect slipper

On my foot there's always time for that

So I'm gonna spend all summer long

Sittin' on this river log,

'Cause right now there ain't nothing

Wrong with having fun and

Kissin' frogs

Yeah, kissin' frogs

I want to make all my mistakes

While I'm young enough to make

Them once or twice

Or maybe three times

'Cause I ain't looking for my

Prince Charming on a horse,

No once upon a time ain't

Where I'm at

Yeah I don't need a Mr, tryin'

To fit that perfect slipper

On my foot there's always time for that

So I'm gonna spend all summer long

Sittin' on this river log,

'Cause right now there ain't nothing

Wrong with having fun and

Kissin frogs

Yeah, I'm gonna spend all summer long

Sittin' on this river log,

'Cause right now there ain't nothing

Wrong with having fun and

Kissin' frogs"

We finish in a giggling fit

"That was Kissin' Frogs by ReeLynn next up is Square Pegs by Kelsea Ballerini after these messages" The announcer says. Sophie lives up here all year long! "SOPHIA!" Her daddy yells. "Oh no that's daddy!" "Go hide in the tree Sophie!" She goes and runs into our secret treehouse. He walks up to me "Hey girl you seen Sophia?" "No Mr. Peletier" I say and he wobbles off drunkenly. That was the last summer I spent up there, with Sophia.

I am at the door when I realize it. Sophia was my childhood best friend.
