The Nanny (Jaele)

Lies

"Riele what are you doing here?" I asked shocked as I stared at her.

I've never seen Riele like this. She was shaking a little bit. Her eyes were red and puffy. Surprisingly she wasn't in her pajamas she was still in the same clothes.

"C-can I p-please s-stay h-h-here tonight?" She asked crying.

"Of course! Come in!" I said pulling her inside.

She collapsed into my arms and cried into my chest. I guided her to the couch and we sat down. Riele cried for quite a while before calming down. Once she calmed down she sat up and took some deep breaths. I sat up and looked at her concerned.

"What happened Riele?"

"I um... Just didn't want to be alone tonight that's all" she said with a weak smile.

"Don't lie to me Riele" I said seriously. She sighed quietly.

"It was Danny..." she started.

"Danny?"

"My fiancé..."

WHAT?! fiancé? Riele can't be taken... No...

"Well EX fiancé..."

Phew!

"Wait you never told me about Danny" I said confused.

"That's cause I didn't want to... Look there's a part of my life that I didn't tell you about..."

"What happened?" I asked curiously.

"In university I had a boyfriend... We were so in love... After uni he asked me to move in with him... I was foolish... I said yes... Things were fine... We were going to be married... Danny made me the happiest person in the world... I loved him so much..."

I cringed a little bit. It bugs me to hear her talk about how in love she was another guy...

"Then I found out I was pregnant... I was over the moon... But when I told him.... I don't what happened... He slapped me... Then he stormed out cursing under his breath... I cried for hours... When he came back he was drunk... He did stuff.... I got hurt... The next day I found out I had a miscarriage..... I lost my baby..." she said as tears formed in her eyes.

"The worst part is that when I confronted him... He didn't comfort me... He didn't hug me and tell me everything would be ok... He blamed me... He said it was my fault and that I ruined his life... I had just lost my fucking baby Jace! All I wanted was a hug and no one was there! That's why the play pen was there... It was meant for the baby..." she began crying again.

Wow... She's been through so much...

"It's ok Riele... Don't cry.." I said trying to calm her down as I stroked her bouncy curls.

"Please Jace... I've been holding me in my tears for a long time now... Let me cry"

I sighed as I listened to her sob. She cried for like an hour. We stayed like that... Her crying and new comforting her... But I didn't mind... She needs this right now... More than anything...

"Thank you Jace. I don't know what I'd do without you" Riele said wiping away her tears.

"Anytime. Riele you need to know that I'm here. I know that in the past people haven't been there for you but I'm not like those people. I'm here. I'm always here." I said putting my hand on hers.

I couldn't help but stare into her eyes. Eventually I got lost in them. Her face got closer and closer until we were millimetres apart...

AAAH! I can't take it!

I quickly smashed my lips onto hers. She was shocked but kissed back. Her arms hesitantly wrapped around my neck as I held her waist. I was so tempted to deepen it but I decided not to. Eventually, even though I didn't want to, we had to pull away.

"Um... We should probably get some sleep..." I whispered kinda shocked at what just happened. I finally kissed her!

"Uh... Yeah... You can go back to your room... I'll sleep here..." she responded in the same tone.

I simply nodded and walked away. I sat on my bed kinda stunned...

The next morning

Riele's POV
I was woken up by the sound of a delicate cry. I instantly realised I was sleeping on Jace's sofa. That's when memories of last night came flooding back to me. I kissed Jace.

I quickly went and picked up Liliana. I bounced her up and down a little bit making her giggle.

"Morning Lil!"

She giggled and put a hand on my face. I laughed as I removed her hand from my face.

I noticed a magazine going through the mail slot so I quickly picked it up and saw 'BIG JACE NORMAN NEWS!' On the cover. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Looks like daddy's in the news AGAIN!" I giggled flipping to the page he was on.

'Latest news! Jace Norman does NOT have a new gf. His publicist called us and told us that Jace was furious about the news. The girl he was seen with was simply Liliana's nanny and just Liliana's nanny. Not a friend. Not a girlfriend. Just a nanny. He also went onto say that the only girl he will love is his first love Isabela. AWWW! That's so sweet Jace!'

I dropped the magazine in shock. So that's all I am to him! Not even a friend! He's just playing me! The kiss musty have been heat of the moment!

"Guess who?" Jace joked putting his hands over my eyes.

I yanked his hands away and walked to the kitchen. Footsteps were soon heard behind me.

"Sorry can't a guy joke around with his best friend?" He said smiling. The nerve of this guy!

"Save it. We're not friends. I know what I am to you so don't pretend." I spit out with hatred.

"What are you talking about?" He asked confused.

"This!" I went over to the magazine and threw it in his face. He read over it a few times before looking at me shocked.

"Riele I didn't say any of this!"

"Uh huh" I rolled my eyes.

"Riele-"

"Mr Norman I'd like to take Liliana out for a walk. We should be back within an hour" I informed him as I put a coat on Lili. I love Liliana and I don't want to leave her so...

"Riele you have to believe me!"

Jace's POV
At this point I was practically begging Riele. I was like a helpless puppy. You guys know I didn't get through to my publicst! This article is a lie!

"We will see you soon Mr Norman" Riele said formally heading towards the door.

"Stop!" I said running towards her and grabbing her wrist.

"I forbid you from calling me that! I might even consider firing you!" I said not thinking.

A knock was heard on the door but we ignored it. Tears were forming in my eyes as well as hers.

"Well if you want to fire me... Then I might as well get the door since I'm leaving!" She said escaping my grip.

When she opened the door my eyes were about to pop out of my head.
