Chapter 3: Home Sweet Home

I pulled into the parking lot with a loud screech mostly because I was NOT paying attention to the signals that were clearly blinking before my eyes. I exited my vehicle and headed for the correct terminal running full sprint rather than walking. I was sure the girls plane had just landed and I was hauling ass into the airport as if I were being chased I knew that if I wasn't there before the girls got into the Baggage claim i'd be in a world of shit. "I ran pushing past people trying desperately to get to the Terminal board to see if the plane had actually landed yet. Flight 590 Rio De Janiero,Brazil - Los Angeles (On Time) Terminal 6 I read and sprinted off again. I slowed down to catch my breath it took me damn near 10 minutes for my breathing to return to normal. I watched anxiously as people walked past me some bumping me, some giving me odd looks causing me to roll my eyes.. God I hate people sometimes I thought to myself "HEY Y/N!!" I heard a familiar voice yell I whipped my head left to right as my eyes searched frantically for the voice "Over here!!" I caught site of Camilla flailing her arms in the air trying to get my attention without calling too much attention to herself. "Mila!" I shouted walking up to her smiling. I had my arms already outstretched for one of her Koala Hugs "OMG babyyy!!" she shrieked running towards me at full speed. Camilla jumped into my arms and wrapped her legs and arms tightly around my neck and waist her muffled screams made me giggle all that I could make out as she had her entire face buried in my neck was "God I've missed you!" "I've missed you too my little Koala" I joked hugging her tightly "Damn Camz give the girl some air you are suffocating her! Sup Girly" Dinah replied fist bumping me "sup Dinah" I said smiling and nodding my head. Camilla clung to me refusing to let me go but that was fine for me because she was small and light as a feather and I was pretty fit so holding her on me wasn't a big deal. Dinah's greeting was followed by Ally, Normani "geeze Camz you're taking all of my hugs" a sweet, raspy voice chimed in . "Lauren" I stammered Camilla took that as her cue to un-glue herself from my body so that I could hug Lauren "hey Handsome" she said as she leaned in to hug me. Lauren always called me "handsome" even though I had absolutely NO physical male features I was really pretty so pretty in fact that in her eyes I was handsome and a bit androgynous but not by choice. Lauren and I hugged for a good while Her body felt different no longer pre pubescent but that of a woman she had curves and a very nice figure now and her brown hair was now raven black and i noticed that she had cut it a few inches shorter she was even more beautiful than I had remembered her when they left to go on tour months ago" there was an awkward silence when she and I pulled away we just stared at one another. "ahh shit y'all need to stop looking like straight up love birds over there" Dinah said followed by her hyena laugh. Lauren and I turned to the girls as they all had their phones out snapping pics of us "Oh come on girls you know I am with Brad so stop it" Lauren confessed my piercing blue eyes met her striking Emerald Green eyes and she quickly focused her gaze back to the ground blushing at me as I smirked at her "ahh you have a guy huh" I said gently nudging her "come on girls let's go we have a lot of unpacking to do let's scram before people start to realize who we are" Ally said smiling, a tired look on her face. I followed the girls to the Baggage Claim and watched as they gathered their things each girl had about 3 bags each. I caught Lauren struggling with a bag and I quickly made my way over to her seeing as the other girls pretty much were pros at carrying their own luggage. "Here let me get that one for you" I said reaching past her to grab her huge rolling suitcase "Oh no it's OK baby I have it" she said smiling at me her eyes refusing to meet mine. I watched as she continued to struggle with the bag and mouthed "fuck" under her breath. I chuckled and I guess she heard me because her eyes shot up at mine. I stood there smirking at her with my arms folded which made her turn red from blushing "Let me get that for you" I offered again and this time she allowed me to grab her bag. The girls and I exited the airport with caution but caution was soon thrown to the wind once we heard screaming girls coming our way. I watched as the girls automatically set their luggage aside and made their way to greet their crying fans and sign autographs. I stood in awe as the girls took special care for their screaming fans making sure to take pics with each and every one of them and engage in quick yet meaningful conversations with them individually. Camilla kissed a girl on her cheek and she screamed so loud I could have sworn that I heard a glass shatter somewhere in the distance. After the girls were finished greeting their fans we hurried along to the Escalade. I helped with their bags and ordered them to sit inside the car while I loaded up so that they would not be engulfed in a sea of teenage girls again. About an hour had passed when we finally pulled up in my driveway I turned to see that ALL of the girls were completely knocked out with mouths open like gone straight to dreamland. I quietly exited the car and took the girls luggage's to their room one by one and then proceeded to carry each of them to their rooms and put them in bed. Lauren was the last to be carried and I took special care with her I noticed that her eyes appeared tired at the airport. As I carried her to her room she mumbled something and buried her face in the crook of my neck I felt her gently run her hand up and down my neck this sent a chill of electricity up my spine. I gently lay Lauren in her bed and attempted to place the covers over her when she awoke. "stay with me" she mumbled under her breath Her eyes looked serious "Pweaseee I need Cuddles" she said with pouty lips in her baby voice I smiled and headed towards her side of the bed. "No behind me" she said her green eyes piercing mine. I paused for a second looking into her eyes as she patted where she wanted me to be. I shrugged it off and lay behind her but kept on my side of the bed. Just as I closed my eyes, I felt Lauren press her body against me, she took my arm and placed it over her heart. I felt it beating. I scooted closer to her and gently kissed her head. she turned to look at me and our eyes met in an unbreakable stare.. god her eyes were so beautiful. I watched her eyes leave mine and trail to my lips then slowly back to my eyes "I've really missed you" she said her eyes staring deep into mine "I missed you too Lauren" I said with a half smile.. the moment between us was getting pretty intense. Lauren reached up and gently touched my face and I closed my eyes "I wa-" "KNOCK KNOCK" "Lauren? Y/N are you girls in there? we heard Ally ask as the door slowly opened I quickly pulled away from Lauren and we both sat up on the bed. I cleared my throat and answered "yeah we're in here Ally!" I glanced over at Lauren who was now looking down at the floor she ran her hand through her dark hair and flipped it to one side. "Oh ha,ha I've been all over this incredible house looking for you girls, but wait how'd we get in our rooms? our luggage and everything was placed in them" I raised my hand and smiled "Guilty as charged" I said as I stood up from the bed. I had barley gotten my balance when Camilla came running full steam ahead through the door like a freight train quickly engulfing me in her famous Koala Hug, she kissed my head and smiled "Can we get those Bananas now?" "ha ,ha yes as promised in fact-" I started add something but was cut off quickly by Dinah"Yo where's the grub you can't starve us in here" Dinah said poking her head through the door "Damn Lauren you got a huge ass room chick! hey! let's switch I'll rock, paper, scissors you for it" Dinah explained with her hands balled into fists "ha,ha not a chance, But nice try though Dinah I admire your motivation" Lauren giggled As she rose from the bed. "Hey we better get going you guys it's getting late and I wanted to cook for us" Ally stated as she eyed her watch It took about an hour and a half for the girls to "get ready" I guess they had to keep up their appearances just in case the paparazzi or fans just so happened to be lurking in the shadows. After pilling ourselves into the Escalade and listening to Camilla and Lauren fight over who was going to sit in front seat next to me, Lauren won hands down.
