Chapter 4: Truth Or Dare

5:45pm 

we pulled into the Walmart parking lot and thankfully there were few cars I was thinking in the back of my mind "please don't let anyone recognize them" but I knew that that thought would be blown to hell once we all walked in. The girls pretty much refused to disguise themselves much to my urging they all had their stories about how their fans meant a lot to them and that they would never go incognito for the sake of privacy.. well not yet at least. I exited the car and Lauren was right behind me she slowly interlaced our hands together I glanced up at her to only to see her blushing at me and I returned a smile as I raised her hand to my lips and kissed it her face turned as red as a tomato. "AWWWWWWW"  the girls said in unison "That's so cute!"  Camilla exclaimed Lauren quickly released my hand and ran her fingers through her dark hair I caught a glimpse of her smiling and I thought to myself "she's starting to grow on me, I haven't seen her in almost a year and she comes back a woman she looks so different so beautiful so.. feminine, so curvy compared to when we last saw one another, And what's with her calling me "baby" at the airport? she's never called me that before?" all of these thoughts rushed through my head but for as quickly as they came, I blocked them out Probably just me overthinking I thought to myself. We all entered the store and were kindly greeted by an employee. The girls all grabbed their baskets and made a B line towards separate isles. I attempted to grab a buggy when my arm was gently grabbed. I looked up and saw Lauren smiling at me "shop with me " she urged. I thought about it for a second then shrugged my shoulders "Sure, OK" I said smiling at her. I followed close behind Lauren as she carefully picked out things that she liked Ritz Crackers, Krispie Creme Donuts ,a few healthy things ,Fruits etc. About an hour and a half later, the girls met up with us at the Register Dinah had the fullest basket and each girl looked at her as if she were packing food for Armageddon. "What?" she said in a high pitched tone and quickly clicked her teeth afterwards "Home girl  rackin' up 5 months is a long time" she said as she giggled "yeah I am sure that will all last till then" Camilla chimed in "Hey shush Mrs Banana Queen 2016" Dinah shot back  I glanced at Camilla as she grabbed a banana and began a speech "Yes, oh thank you,thank you all I'd first of like to thank the fans and my people in banana Land for their gracious nominations oh and also" "shut Up mMila" Dinah chuckled as she threw a grape at Camila's head  all of the girls erupted in laughter.  I helped the girls gather their groceries into the Escalade and we were off Just as fast as we had come "Hey do you girls wanna play truth or dare drinking edition" Camilla asked "Wow mila you're still a fetus and you want to drink with the big dogs huh" Dinah said smirking " What?! I am not a fetus I'm 19 now guys come on let's do something fun have a party or something just us girls?" camila urged. I glanced into the rear view mirror and saw hope in her eyes at that point I knew I had to come to her rescue "Sure, I'm down for that" and all of the girls agreed  "Oh look Y/N there's a Liquor store!"  Normani squealed I put my turn signal on and turned into the parking lot. We all exited the vehicle and made our way into the liquor store. The "BING BONG" of the bell signaled to the clerk that he had guests "Hello welcome fine Ladies" he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes as  The girls all giggled and waved at him I ignored him and decided to stroll down the mixer isle. I carelessly drug my finger along the bottles of liquor and mixers until I landed on an interesting one "Hypnotiq" hmm I wonder what that tastes like I thought to myself curiosity had gotten the best of me and I gently placed the sky blue bottle into my small basket and moved on to the next isle I picked up a few other bottles of liquor including the all famous Captain Morgan Rum,jack Daniels,and Tequila. I grabbed a few mixers and a bag of ice and was ready to check out "Hey they have Banana flavored liquor!!" I heard Camilla's voice squeal from another isle. I chuckled to myself and thought "this girl and her bananas".  After about 20 mins, I was ready to check out and I waited for the girls to grab their poison of choice "Is this going to be all for you beautiful ladies?" the guy at the counter asked as he stared at Lauren. I was becoming annoyed but I did not say anything  "yeah how much?" I finally blurted out "uhh that'll beee $192.89.." wait.. are you those Fifth Harmony chicks?!" the guy asked with a HUGE smile on his face and probably a boner to go along with it. "Shit my little sister always talks about you girls you're here for a show in a week right?" he asked them and they all replied in unison "oh cool beans hey can I get you girls autograph for my sister she's going to freak the fuck out when I tell her that I met you girls"  he said. I saw the "fuckboy" status in his eyes as he continued eyeing Lauren who was the last to sign his napkin that he pulled out of his pocket. By this time, I was about to blow a fuse I grabbed the bags thanked the guy and exited the store with the girls trailing behind me. "ooooooooooooo someones Jealousssss" I heard Dinah and Normani say in unison. I stopped and opened the doors for the girls and they proceeded to hop in one by one As I placed the last bag carefully in it's holder Lauren came around to the back of the vehicle "I saw how you were eyeing that guy" she giggled "Who me? psh nah I was just ready to leave he looked like a fuckboy anyways"  I explained non nonchalantly as I began rearranging the bags. "awww you were jealous" she said smiling big at me as she pinched my cheeks "I was not I just.. you know I'm a bit protective"  I said smiling at her "well, you looked Jealous to me but don't worry.. I think that's kinda cute"  she leaned over and kissed my check and skipped over to the passenger side of the car. I stood in shock and I felt myself blushing hard but I shook it off as I walked to the Driver's seat. I looked back at the girls who were all engaged in other activities on their phones. Camilla was singing to "Like Mariah"  with her headphones glued to her ears , Normani & Dinah were taking selfies to put on Instagram and Twitter, Ally was chuckling on the phone with her Brother and Lauren had her headphones in listening to Lana Del Ray quietly singing to herself. I smiled to myself and started the  car. L.A. traffic was clear surprisingly and we made it home safe within 30 minutes. I helped the girls put their groceries away Ally decided that Pizza would have to suffice for the night because she was too tired from the long flight. We all agreed to that and I walked to the living room and started setting up the "Truth or dare" area. I lay pillows on the ground and made it as comfy as possible. I started to mix up a fruit punch using the ingredients that I'd picked up from the store into a small punch bowl. I took a sip of the punch "yes fkn perfect" I said to myself "Hey Y/N the pizza is here!" I heard Camilla holler from the kitchen. "Be right here doll face" I shouted back at her "doll face, that's a new one!.. heyy wait I thought I was your Banana Queen" she shouted back at me  her voice sounded like she was in a tunnel. I skipped into the kitchen and greeted the pizza guy some pimple-faced kid who was probably struggling to pay his way though college. I handed the kid the money and a generous tip of $40 and sent him on his way. The girls all followed me into the living room where I had our game night/party night set up we decided to eat before we started drinking which was a smart decision. We played Truth or dare for about two hours  and by the end of the second hour,  we all were quite lit. Camilla was the first to knock out on the floor, Ally stumbled to her room complaining of a headache, Dinah and Normani decided to watch Frozen on the couch, Lauren disappeared, and I decided to go outside to the backyard, relax by the pool, and collect my thoughts. I lay on a swinging couch and gazed up at the stars I felt my eyelids getting heavy but I refused to sleep."Hey Handsome" I heard a familiar voice say I looked up and saw Lauren standing beside me I sat up allowing her to sit beside me  she accepted my invitation and sat close to me almost falling over " woahhhh" she said followed by a hearty yet squeaky laugh she was CLEARLY drunk. and I was a bit tipsy myself but still very much aware of my surroundings. I made sure that I did not get completely shitfaced for personal reasons. "Beautiful night tonight huh"  I said glancing over at her as she lay her head in the crook of my neck "mhm" she hummed with her eyes closed. There was a moment of silence "you are so beautiful when you sleep" I whispered under my breath. The words escaped my lips before I could even realize what I had just said. Lauren raised her head and looked at me "you said what? how do you know how  I looked when I sleep" she said her voice squeaky and raspier than ever. "Camilla sent me a pic of you asleep on the airplane"  I giggled. I flipped through my phone and showed her the pic. "Oh noo I look horrible" she said burying  her face in my chest. No you look beautiful trust me"  I said sounding as sincere as I could "You think I'm beautiful?" she said staring into my eyes and smiling I began to see her face turn red from blushing "No, Actually I don't think that you're beautiful, I KNOW that you're beautiful inside and out actually" I said looking down at her smiling. Lauren raised herself off of me and within a second our faces were inches from kissing one another "HEY love birds! Mani and I are heading to bed it's been real!" Dinah shouted from the doorway causing Lauren and I to jump. "hmmphm" Lauren groaned I laughed at her as she attempted to get up from the sofa "I can't walk" she said between laughs as she tumbled to the ground and erupted in laughter. "Yeah, you are in need of some assistance" I said giggling at her laying on the ground she picked her red solo cup up and attempted to get up as I was walking over to her "Hey, we have" OH SHIT! FUCK!" she hollered as her drink spilled on her clothes. I took this as my cue to help her out "here let me take that and you to bed" "yes carry me awayyy" she laughed as I picked her up, she automatically wrapped her arms around my neck  I felt her face rub against my neck " mmm you smell good"  she said her emerald green eyes piercing into mine " your drunk Lauren"  I said chuckling. I got Lauren up to her room and closed the door behind us she began singing loudly I  tried shushing her but she wasn't having any of it ,she was too far gone. She turned around looking me in the eyes "here let me get you out of those clothes" I told her as I began rummaging through her suitcase. She nodded her head and walked over to me  I gently raised her shirt as she began to unbutton and then unzip her skinny jeans. I raised Lauren's shirt over her head and realized that she wasn't wearing a bra. My eyes slowly scanned her beautiful body  she was so beautiful. I realized what I was doing and quickly turned my gaze back to her where our eyes met and then silence. Lauren slowly leaned forward and attempted to kiss me again as she had tried to do outside in the back yard "Lauren no your drunk, here put this shirt on"  I told her as I backed away from her slowly and turned my head she did as she was told and got into bed "cuddle with me" she said her speech slurred. "Lauren I don't think that's a good idea we both are drunk and I-" "please" she begged cutting me off.. I thought about it for a second and headed towards her side of the bed."No, behind me" she urged I paused for a second then changed my steps and walked to the opposite side of the bed, pulled up the covers and got behind her keeping a little space in between us when just as before she scooted into me, grabbed my hand and placed it over her chest. Lauren's skin was so soft. I watched as the moon light invaded the room and I stared up at the moon through the window. Just as I had done many nights before "I love you Y/N"  Lauren whispered but I knew that she was already asleep by her shallow breathing I also knew that she sometimes talked in her sleep however, this time she seemed sincere about her words "I love you too " I said as I drifted off to sleep.
