Remember, Protagonist narrates these, in case you forgot. Anyways, here we go!

I sit on the motorcycle.

"If you make it," Villain comments, "don't scratch it."

"If I don't?" I ask.

"Then eh," Villain replies, "it had a good run. Also, I betting fifty bucks on ya bro, don't let me down."

I grip the handle. "Ready?" Hero calls from down the hall.

"Ready!" I reply. Hero takes put a video camera. This could be a historical moment if I somehow make it. Never hurts to be safe.

I turn on the gas, dashing down the hall. I fell the cool wind on my face, a rush of adrenaline pumping through my veins, I go off the ramp. This time, I get so much closer. Still, I'm less than half way there. I begin to plummet towards the Void. I bail and land in a safe spot.

Did I say land again? Son of a bitch! I fall through a safe spot and end up back on the balcony.

Well, that didn't work.

"We need to go faster," Villian comments, "I'll get to work."

Villian walks off. Silkress walks into the room, and sees the skid marks in the hall. "What the fuck did you do?" She demands.

"Tried to jump the void," I reply.

Silkress sighs, "you know no one can make it. We can't fly over it, and no one has enough control. There's no way to- wait, did you say jump?"

"Yeah," Hero explains, "Villian is working on somthing. We'll get across mom."

"Well," Silkress replies, "dinner's in an hour, make this attempt quick. Good luck kids." Silkress walks off.

I have an... Odd family. How did I end up living with these people? It's a long story, but we have to go back to tell it... Which I will, next intermission. Until then... Please come back.
