Ashoka and Rex are dorm mates. Ashoka, Smart and brilliant. Rex, rebellious and strong. Rex struggling with grades Ashoka helps out. Ashoka struggling to fit in and relax, Rex helps with that. They've been living together for a week now. Ashoka's dating lux full-time now, Rex still crushing hard. Will this love triangle turn into something different? Will Lux and Ashoka make it? Rex and Ashoka we're walking back to the dorm together after a long day of classes. "Did you get you grades?" Ashoka asked Rex, "Hmm?..Oh! Yeah, I did...." Rex said glumly. "What's up?" Ashoka asked looking concerned, "Eh, Let's just say i will either get expelled or pulled back another year." Replied Rex, "I know you don't usually have great grades or pay the most attention, but...Would you like me to tutor you? Help you get your grades back up?" Ashoka asked a painted brow raised. "Yeah, That would be great actually!" Rex said smiling, "Okay then! Today we work as hard as possible and get your grades up! Like mine!" Ashoka said shoving her paper in his face bragging, "Very funny, Shorty!" Rex said smirking down at her, "Hey! Just because i'm a few inches shorter then you doesn't mean you can be a butt about it" Ashoka retorted. They reached their dorm and entered. "Okay! Let's get to work!" Ashoka said, "Wait....Now?" Rex said looking confused, "Yes now! Do you want to get pulled back another year, Or worse...Expelled?" Ashoka asked crossing her arms, "No mommy....." Rex said pretending to be sad, "I'm not even going to ask..." She replied shaking her head. Rex and Ashoka sat at the desk and began working. They went over math tests, History papers, Engineering tests. Everything Rex had and needed to learn and work on. "Okay...How many motors does a super tank have?" Ashoka quizzed him, "If a standard tank has two, Then the super tank has four!" Rex said eyes bright and happy. "Great! okay, You have all you need to write your paper! Now, You work on your paper, I'll work on mine." Ashoka stated. So Rex and Ashoka worked on their assignments. Rex glanced Ashoka's way every now and again, He just hoped he went unnoticed. Which he didn't. "If you keep staring at me you'll never get anything done Rexter!" Ashoka said giving him a side glance, "Sorry!" Rex said laughing a little, Blushing a lot! It was about an hour later and Ashoka and Rex had finished their work. "What now?" Rex asked, "I think i'm going to study for test next week" Ashoka replied, "You nuts!? C'mon, Let's go do something fun! The sun's shining, it's warm! How about we go to the skate park?" Rex reasoned, "I've never skated." Ashoka told him, "I'll teach you!" Replied Rex, "Okay then..." Ashoka said unsure. They drove to Rex's favorite shop, The skate shop. They walked around until Ashoka found the perfect board. "How about this one?" Rex asked her pointing to a pink one with black flames printed on it. "No...To girly.." Ashoka said looking at it in disgust. "Ooohh, I like this one!" Ashoka said as she picked up a black board with orange and blue flames. "Alright then! It kinda looks like mine!" Rex said, "What's your look like?" She asked curiously. "It's dark blue with orange flames." He informed her. So Rex bought the skateboard for Ashoka as a gift, And they went to the skate park. Rex showed Ashoka the ropes to skateboarding, How to keep steady, How to jump ramps, How not to die! Ashoka wore a helmet but Rex didn't. "Okay, Legs slightly apart, good. Now give yourself a push start and roll!" Rex told Ashoka, "I'm scared..." Ashoka said looking down, "I'll be right next to you on my board okay?" Rex asked her smiling at her. Ashoka kick started and went, So did Rex. Ashoka was amazed! She was actually doing it! She was skateboarding! "I'm doing it Rex! Look at me go!" Ashoka said beaming with joy, She jumped a ramp, Rex slid down a railing. Ashoka looked to her left and saw Lux with a few buddies, "Lux! HI!" Ashoka shouted, Rex looked over to his left and saw Ashoka trying to get Lux's attention. Rex wiped out! He didn't see the rail in front of him and he hit it and went five feet up in the air and landed flat on his chest, left arm under his body. "Rex! Are you okay!?" Ashoka shouted as she rushed over to him. Lux laughed with his stupid stuck up friends. "Ow..." Rex said moving himself so he was on his back, He winded himself, He couldn't breath for a minute. "Rex! oh my gosh Are you alright!?" Ashoka asked him kneeling down. "Yeah....Just...Dizzy...." Rex said getting up, "Ow!" He said as he tried to move his left hand. "What?!" Ashoka asked worriedly, "I think, THINK, I fractured or sprained my wrist...." Rex said looking at it. His wrist had already started to swell and bruise. "Let's get you to the hospital." Ashoka said. Ashoka helped Rex to the hospital which was only about half a mine from the skate park. Lucky huh? "Okay, Good news, It's not broken. Bad news it is sprained." The doctor informed them, "You'll have to wear a cast for about a month or so, Maybe less. Depends on how fast you heal." He said, "Okay, Thank you doctor!" Ashoka replied, "Yeah...Thanks.." Rex said. They got Rex's cast on and headed home. Ashoka signed Rex's cast to cheer him up. She wrote, 'Rex, Your an amazing person and my BFF! Love Ashoka! <3'. Every time Rex looked at it he smiled. Rex was on the couch attempting to play video games...But failing. There was a knock at the door. Rex got up to answer, It was Lux. "Ugh...And i thought my day couldn't get any worse..." Rex said sarcastically, "Is Ashoka here? We're headed to the park for a picnic." Said lux. "She's in her room, I'll get her." Rex said walking towards Ashoka's room. He knocked on the door, "Come in!" Ashoka shouted, "Help me with this will ya Rexter?" She asked pointing to the zipper on the back of her flowered dress. Rex walked over to her cautiously, And stared for a moment. "Well are you going to stand there or zip my dress?" Ashoka joked. Rex zipped the back of her dress up, "Lux..Is, uh...waiting for you.." Rex said awkwardly, Blushing. "Rex you act as if you've never seen the back of a woman's bra before!" She said sarcastically. But it was true. "Whatever, You go...have fun.." Rex said giving her a fake smile. Ashoka left with Lux to their picnic. Rex sat back down on the couch and put his headphones on and listened to 'stay with me' and sang along. Rex fell asleep on the couch but awoke when he heard the door open and close. "Hey, Soka....Your home late" Rex said sitting up so he could see her. "Oh, Sorry! I got caught up with something." She said smirking, "Okay then!" Rex said laying back down. "Hey Rex, Do you ever feel like sometimes when your with one person the world just...stops? Like, It doesn't matter how large the crowd, Your the only two?" Ashoka asked him, "Yeah...I know the feeling.." Rex said rather sadly, "That's how i feel with Lux!" Ashoka said dreamily. "And that's how i feel with you..." Said Rex quietly to himself. "Well i'm off to bed! Nighty night Rexter!" Ashoka said winking at him. Rex's heart fluttered and his stomach felt fuzzy. "I wish this would go away....I wish lux would go away.....I wish i could give Lux a high five in the face...With a hammer....Or give him a pat on the back off a cliff...." Rex thought to himself, And he imagined himself doing those things and that made him smirk deviously. Rex walked back to his room and crawled under his covers. "Ashoka makes me feel warm and happy, She makes me feel fuzzy and weird....Why can't me and her be together? This is so hard, Pretending to be happy for her when i so want her, why isn't it me that's holding her hand, Kissing her, Cuddling up with her. It's not fair, I deserve to be happy too. I guess i didn't tell her when i had the chance, I'm too scared." Rex thought to himself. "Oh well, maybe Ashoka will break up with Lux and then i'll have my shot. Then i won't throw away my shot!" He thought. Soon Rex fell Asleep, Dreaming of what it would be like if He and Ashoka we're together.                                               To Be Continued!
