"C'mon Samarih we can't let her wait!" I rushed her as she continued to grab and look for items.

"Okay damn stop rushing me."

"See that's why I told you to do that last night." I sat on the hotel dresser and looked at her.

"Okay help me zip this bag up." She struggled to zip up her duffle bag.

"Okay now c'mon." I grabbed my backpack and my duffle bag.

She looked one more time before going out the door.

I pressed the elevator button and waiting for it to come up.

"You ready?" I asked Samarih.

She nodded her head and smiled as we entered on the elevator.

"I can't wait." I said.

The door opened and I let her out first. We walked to the front desk where Keem was.

"Aye man we outta here." I gave him dap from over the desk.

"Forreal? Aww man y'all serious." His eyes widen

"Yeah." I shook my head and gave him the room cards.

"Alright man, I'll let y'all go then, bye pretty lady." Keem said.

"Bye." Samarih waved.

"Lucas!" Kayden yelled and waved to her car.

She popped the trunk and we put our things in there.

We both sat in the back and she laid her head on my shoulders.

"Samarih wake up." Lucas shook me.

I whined "No."

He smacked his lips and hit my thigh.

"Okay, okay." I got up and rubbed my eyes.

I squinted my eyes and looked around.

"Where are we?" I got out the car and asked Lucas as he was getting the bags out the trunk.

"Indiana." He replied.

"I thought we were going to the airport?"

"We can't afford to ride a plane babygirl. We gotta drive or catch the bus. Kayden only dropped us off here because she has family down here."

"What do you mean you can't afford to ride a plane! You had money left over! What happened to it?"

"Listen man, when I was leaving I think dropped some of the money well most of it and I only have 1,389 dollars."

"What! Are you serious! I worked hard for that fuckin' money and you are telling me you dropped the money?" I was beyond pissed.
