Chapter 24

Ken's Pov

"It was intentional and not an accident." Felton said to Amber.

After that incident ay tumawag agad ito sa P.I niya and when we got home ay kinausap ni Felton si Amber.

"I told you Amber you need to have a bodyguard!" Tito said habang nakatayo ito at palakad lakad.

"Argh, Seriously dad? I can handle myself!"

"Oh Lord my God, why did you gave me a hardheaded daughter?" Tito uttered at napa irap naman si Amber.

"Ang O.A mo Dad!"

"What?! O.A pa ang tawag mo dito? Amber you almost hit by a car and you call this O.A?!"

"You're dad is right Amber. Paano na lang pag nasagasahan ka at napuruhan? What if you die because of it?" Tita said.

"Hon, please take a sit nahihilo ako sayo!" Tita said.

"Patay agad mom? Pwede bang nabaliaan muna ng buto?" She snorted.

"I don't know kung ano ang gagawin ko sayo! Tatanda ako sayo ng maaga!" Tito said habang hawak nito ang sentido niya at halatang nakokonsumi na.

"Dad matanda ka na talaga!"

Napaupo naman si Tito dahil sa sinabi niya at narinig ko ang pagtawa ni Tita at ni Sir Felton.

ONE WEEK na ang nakalipas, when the incident happened. Nakaupo kami ngayong apat sa isang bench at nagkwekwentuhan ng mapagdesisyonan naming pumunta sa cafeteria para kumain.

Tumayo na kami at naglakad na at medyo nahuli si Amber dahil biglang tumawag ang gradpa niya.

Nang matapos ang call agad nitong i-nend ang call at tumayo na.

"Wilson bilisan mo nga!" I said.

"Oo na." aniya at nakakaisang hakbang palamang ito ng bigla na lang siyang matumba at natama ang likod ng ulo niya sa edge ng bench kung saan kami nakaupo kanina na dahilan para matanggal ang wig nito.

I ran immediately towards her. And I saw her blood spreading in her shirt. She was shot near her heart.

"REX, SAI PLEASE CALL THE AMBULANCE NOW!" sigaw ko sakanila.

I think may silencer ang baril ng hayop na gunman na 'yon kaya wala kaming narinig na putok.

Binuhat ko si Amber in a bridal style dahilan para lumugay ang mahaba nitong buhok.

Agad namang dumating ang ambulance at isinakay ko agad siya.

I know Rex and Sai are shocked dahil sa nakita nila. I was crying inside the ambulance habang nakikita ko ang pinsan ko na nilalagyan ng oxygen para ma i-abot ito sa hospital.

"Please hold on Amber." I whispered to her while i'm holding her hand.

Agad kaming nakarating sa hospital at pinunta agad siya sa operating room para matanggal ang bala. I called tito and tita to inform them sa nangyari kay Amber.

When tita heard the news she lost her consiousness kaya mas lalong nag alala si Tito. He told me na pupunta agad sila dito.

I'm blaming myself for what happened. Damn! Nandoon ako at hindi ko man lang nagawang protektahan si Amber. My poor cousin. She don't deserve this. I'm so useless!

Dumating naman sila Rex at Sai at tinabihin ako. They seated on my both sides habang tinapik nila ang balilat ko.

"She will be ok." Rex said.

I hope so. Sana makaligtas si Amber.

Isaiah's Pov

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako dapat magulat. Dahil ba sa pagkakabaril sa kanya or dahil ba sa nalaman kong babae siya at hindi lalaki.

I'm happy na hindi ako bakla. Na babae ang gusto ko but I got worried dahil sa nangyari sakanya.

After a few minutes a nurse came out from the operaring room.

"Sir kayo po ba ang pamilya ng pasyente?" He asked.

"Yes, i'm her cousin." Ken said habang nagpunas ito ng luha niya and for the record ngayon ko lang siya nakitang umiyak.

"This is the patient necklace. We remove it para hindi makasagabal sa operasyon." She said and she handed the necklace to him bago at bumalik na ulit ito sa operating room.

Ken hold the pendant of the necklace.

"Please God, help her. We don't wanna lose her." He uttered.

"Ken can I see the necklace?" I asked the he gave it to me.

No it can't be. It can't be her.

I was shocked when I saw the necklace. It is made of silver at may sapphire na stone na nakalagay sa center ng cross pendant ng necklace.

I turned the back of the cross and I saw my initials na naka engrave doon.

My dad gave me a necklace that looks excactly like this when i'm six years old. He said that it will protect me and if I saw a girl that I want to love and protect for the rest of my life I will give it to her.

And that time mag kaibigan na kami ni West. I usually saved her from the girls na umaaway sakanya. I always got worried everytime na masugatan siya and when I turned seven I realized that I really want to protect her. I don't know why but yan ang naramdaman ko. So when she turns seven I gave her the necklace as a gift.

She was so happy when I gave it to her and she even hugged me. She said that she will treasure it because it was my first gift to her and I promised her that day that I will protect her.

"Ken, saan nakuha ni Wilson ang necklace na to?" I asked hoping that he'll know about it.

"She told me that it was a gift from P.I the guy that she met in Cali na naging best friend niya..."

"..And Wilson is not her true name. She is Amber. Amber Wilson."

Amber Wilson? Amber Westlon?

My eyes widened when I realized it. She is West. The girl that I want to protect for the rest of my life. She's my first love until Queenie came to the picture. I forgot all about her because i'm too focused on Queenie.

Damn! If only I knew it earlier na protektahan ko sana siya. I'm sorry West I failed my promise to you. I'm sory I failed you.

Please be strong West. P.I is waiting for you.
