You went back to school after a month and had no further contact with Taehyung.

"What do I say If I see him?" You thought. You had to admit that you had really missed him, it was hard for you not to see him for so long. However you believe that Taehyung would be better off this way.

Still you felt like this place felt kinda off. Something felt different. You decided to go to your room first and unpack your stuff.

"Mia! Welcome back!" Jungkook, jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi cheered as you almost dropped your luggage in surprise. A big smile formed onto your lips as you group-hugged them.

"I'm glad to be back guys." You said. "By the way, where's Seokjin and Namjoon?"

Right at that moment they both arrived, holding a cake to celebrate your return.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you couldn't help but be grateful for having them as your friends. However you couldn't help but to keep looking around to see if Taehyung is also here.

"If you're looking for Taehyung, he isn't going to show up." Yoongi said as he caught you staring.

"I wasn't waiting for Taehyung." You said looking away as jimin put a comforting hand on your shoulder.

"You're not alone Mia. We all haven't seen him for the last few weeks."

"What? How come?"

"Of course it's because you broke up with him." Hoseok scoffed like it was something really obvious.

"I said we needed a break, not break up!" You defended.

"What's the difference?" Seokjin snorted as you looked at him.

"There's is a difference! His father came looking for me and-" you stopped talking as you slipped the secret, but it was too late, all the boys were looking at you with a suspicious frown.

"Wait what?" Jungkook said. "Don't tell me his father made you do this shit."

"I want the best for Tae, you guys know I do." You explained.

"Tsk yeah, the best for him by sending him to the other side of the world." Namjoon said sarcastically as you looked at him in shock.

"Don't look so surprised Mia, that's the reason why Taehyung isn't here today." Jimin said.

"And the funny part is, he is with Sara. That boy must be having a rough time." Seokjin laughed as you couldn't laugh along.

"What have I done." You thought.

"Don't worry, his father send him there to study in a different environment in case he would miss you too much. So just see it as a temporary study overseas." Jungkook reassured you as you nodded. "He is coming back soon so don't think too much of it."

"Well guys, who wants cake?!" Seokjin said lifting the mood again.

Four months later

When jungkook told you that Taehyung would be back anytime soon, you didn't expect several months to pass by. It made you feel anxious, was leaving Taehyung really the best choice? You sighed deeply as you finally finished your homework. For the past few months you invested all you energy into studying however Taehyung never left your mind.

"Mia!" Jungkook came running to you from the other side of your shared dorm room. He plopped down next to you making you startle.

"What's wrong? Why are you like this?" You chuckled.

"I finally got news from Taehyung! His family is holding a birthday party for him so he is coming back, isn't that great news?" He smiled happily as your smile dropped.

"-and the best part is, we are all invited."

"We?" You asked softly. "Including me?"

"Of course! You're the person that definitely has to come."

You looked away. "I don't think I'm going. I have to give him some space, remember?"

"I know, but it's been months!" Jungkook said grabbing your shoulders. "I can see that you miss him."

"I don't know jungkook." You sighed.

"He specifically asked for you to come." He said as you immediately looked at him.

"H-he did?" You asked as he nods.

"So please, do all of us a favor and come to his birthday party. It's going to be grand."

"Okay then." You gave in as jungkook smiled.
