Apparently in Stillwater you became a celebrity with bad popularity amongst the female population if you tried to get close to any member of The Heroes especially it's beloved leader and all time jerk, Scott McAllister. It didn't even matter if you were the preacher's kid and the idea of you Proposing to a member of a teenage boy band was as preposterous as selling ice to an Eskimo.

I was presently wondering how he managed to be a Hero and have time to be a jerk.

Maybe it was a part-time job. Or maybe he was bipolar, or had a split personality disorder.

Nah,I'm just kidding. The Heroes was just the name of his band. He was no hero. He'd need to have a heart to be one. And he proved to not have one when he disappeared, leaving me on the floor to the judgemental students of Coulsdon.

I laughed bitterly at my thoughts and snapped out of them when I remembered that I was at the kitchen table with Dan.

          "You OK honey?" He questioned,concerned.

"Yup" I said popping the p.

"You sure about that? I could go talk to the school authority and tell them to get those people off your back." He persisted.

            "I'm fine dad. It's nothing I can't handle." I assured him.

He looked at me worriedly and muttered under his breath 'teenagers are vicious "

"Yes dad they are." I smiled and I'm a teenager so I am vicious and greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. I've got this dad because God's got me."

I then took my plates to the sink, singing "he's got the whole world, in his hands",knowing that it was sure to bring a smile on Dan's face.

" bye dad this teenager is late."I said when I was done washing our plates.

I got off the bus, huffing as I carried my heavy cello across the street and started walking the needed distance to school.

The bus never took me directly to the school. It stopped me at a junction which was a hundred meters area from the school and went off in a different direction. But i couldn't complain because I was scared of driving and Dan had a life,I couldn't find it in my heart to disturb him.

Liza then started driving me to school especially after the Scott incident in the hallway but she was down with the flu.

The silent purr of a car engine snapped me out of my thoughts. Especially when it cruised to a stop.

I turned and saw a shiny and unmistakably expensive looking sports car. A Ferrari enzo I determined remembering it from the time I used to watch top gear with Sean because he refused to be considerate and change the channel to something we'd both enjoy.

The window by the drivers side which was facing me rolled down slowly and I was hit by a gust of cool air; which was heaven to my hot and sweaty skin, and a nice and manly smelling cologne.

"Do you want the truth or a lie?" A familiar husky lazy drawl asked.

I gritted my teeth as I looked up and found myself face to face with my betè noir,Scott McAllister.
