The cool breeze seeped through the cracks of the building. You sat down beside Kurapika as he rested. The bags under his eyes worried you.
You placed a hand over his forehead, it was warm. You let out a sigh as you rested your head on the bed.
A hand was placed over your head, causing you to look up. Your gaze fixed in to Kurapika's eyes, his eyes soft and dull. He gave you a soft smile as your eyes connected.
It only lasted for a moment before he drifted off to sleep once more. Leorio came in and sighed.
"I have to go before my flight leaves." You say softly to Leorio.
He nodded his head and placed a hand on your shoulder. "Keep in touch with us alright?"
"Of course." You give him a gentle smile before looking back at Kurapika. "Tell me how he's doing."
He patted your back before you walked out. A cab was waiting for you outside. You looked out the window as the cab headed for the airport.
You don't regret your past but what you do regret wasting the time you spent with the wrong people.
