Hello!

So this morning I woke up to someone commenting on the first few chapters of this book being rather rude.

Normally it wouldn't bother me but this person outright accused me of plagarism.

SO just a reminder that this is FANFICTION and follows the timeline from the TV show so, yes, there is a large amount of dialogue that is exactly that same that I have tweaked and changed to suit the plotline and my character Adelaide. IT IS NOT plagarism because I am NOT claiming that all of the characters, names, places, dialogue etc. is my own.

I try to change it up using different point of views and adding different character interactions but there is only so much I can change before Jace, Clary, Alec, Isabelle and Magnus' personalities and stories become lost without including the dialogue/ scenes from the show. Fun fact: most of the shadowhunters books on here do the exact same.

If you have a problem with that then please just go away. Normally I wouldn't care about one person being negative but this person outright accused me of stealing every bit of dialogue in this book which obviously isn't true. They then proceded to tell me to atleast 'plagarise on the down low'

Im all for constructive criticism but being downright nasty and rude to someone just isn't on.

This ^ comes straight from wattpads copyright information page. I am not claiming to own Shadowhunters or the events and names/places/script from the series. Obviously.

I'm going to try and get a chapter up after I finish work today, but at this point I'm just so freaking annoyed 😭
