The hand around my arm tightens and yanks me back towards him.
I lose my footing, stumbling back a few more steps than anticipated by Brandon Pierce's worker.
His hand slides down from upper arm, getting closer and closer to my wrist.
I watch as Kade's eyes grow wide and his mouth moves to form unheard words.
My view of the room changes until I see the ceiling, the grip on my arm turns to nothing but a lingering feeling.
The ceiling turns to sky and trees.
