The Most Wonderful Gift

  • Dedicated to My Brother, My dad, my mom, my sister, and really....my whole family!! :D

Everyday I go on,
saying how it's such a blast,
living with him gone,
it just couldn't last.

As time goes by, day after day,
now the feelings have changed,
much more than words can say,
now in hopes to be arranged.

With Christmas time coming,
the family spread far and near,
there is a want for something not in wrapping,
something that, for me, shed a tear.

Something with feelings,
feelings of Love and hunger,
the hunger for love and siblings,
siblings not only older, but younger.

Suddenly feelings take over,
God's love enters my heart,
I want this more than ever,
my brother never again to part.

Then it enters my mind,
what if the greatest gift of all,
was the spiritual fruit to be kind,
it doesn't come from the mall.

I must find a way,
find a gift for my mother,
show her, it will be okay,
as long as we have one another

much money this plan will cost,
but on a families love,
it is worth it, not to be lost,
the ability comes from up above.

I know I must pray,
for the pieces to fall in place,
God has the power to say,
what becomes in this human race.

to get my brother home,
to see our mother's happiness overflow,
hope is like a dome,
covering chances that the answer may be no.

there's nothing more to say, but to make sure,
this Christmas we'll be together,
if there's any doubt, prayer is the cure,
we'll be together in our heart's forever.

This Christmas, the best gift of all,
comes in a boy who became a man,
and wandered away, hearing a call,
that led him away, the country to span.

Will he now come home
to be the gift I'm dreaming of,
to give to my family who cannot roam,
to find, in a distant place, his love.

My dream shall come true,
on Christmas Eve the gift shall arrive.
my mom not having a clue,
her gift from me to derive.
