To each God has given

Precious Gifts

Gifts of wonder

Gifts of love

These gifts to use

To grow in him

To spread the news

So Good and true

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

My father is crafty

He invents many things

He designs

Then he builds

A wonderful show

For others to know

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

My mother is patient

And loving to us

She cooks and

Brings music

And sings

Much good news

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

The eldest is sharp

And quick with a gun

This talent is good

Though violent it seem

He protects this country

His family to feed

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

The next is dirty

And smelly sometimes

He can fix anything

A vehicle, machine

Broken heart

Or shattered dream

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

Again comes a boy

With many more things

His strength

Giving by God

Also protects

Others he rarely forgets

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

The youngest boy

Though young he be

Picks up here and there

A solider may he be

Maybe mechanical

Or carpentry

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

The eldest girl

Though younger she be

Crochets and knits

Sews without kits

Strength she has

Though lazy she be

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

To me perseverance

The heart to try

I draw and I write

Hunt all the day

Love giving gifts

Specially home made

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

My friends are so special

To each their own

One is special and fun

Another the best friend

One more, oh, my cat

But one to break my faults

To each God has given

Precious Gifts

Many more gifts there are

Spread between lands

The ones I have named

Have been blessings to me

But not just to me

More to others in deed
