Another year has gone by
Full of sorrow and pain
A new year has come
With new burdens to face
But God is with us
God is near us
His hands protect us
His arms embrace us
Though trials we'll face
Sorrows we'll bear
Achievements are great
Destruction is greater
But God is with us
God is near us
His hands protect us
His arms embrace us
Death shall grip us
Love shall overcome us
Friendships will grow
Burdens shall too
But God is with us
God is near us

His arms embrace us
Satan cannot conquer
God is much stronger
We are ever safer
When trusting in God
For God is with us
God is near us
His hands protect us
His arms, embrace us....
