I find myself, often, day-dreaming about the day I'll meet Christ. I honestly think he will return in my life time, but not because of what people say about this December. I follow all the signs God gives us in the Bible. Anyway, unless God suddenly decides that it's my time to go, I think he'll return while I'm living. I wrote this poem about my dreams of the day he returns and what comes afterwards. God Bless! :)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Someday, a trumpet shall sound
And someday the people all around
Will rise from their graves
After all these long days
At last, the Lord, has returned!
And through the clouds he'll ride
For never has he died!
Come to conquer sin of old
Coming through the clouds of gold
Once as a child so small
To answer his heavenly call
He came to be crucified
And now sits on God's right side
The Lord has come again!
And through the clouds he'll ride
For never has he died!
Come to conquer sins of old
Coming through the clouds of gold
All in the twinkling of an eye
We'll rise to meet him in the sky
At last he has returned
To test all that we have learned
All the promises he has given!
And through the clouds he'll ride
For never has he died!
Come to conquer sins of old
Coming through the clouds of gold
Together with Christ we'll fight
Sending Satan to cry in spite
To fall forever in the bottomless pit
Then the fiery lake he shall hit
To suffer eternally for all he has done
And through the clouds he'll ride
For never has he died!
Come to conquer sins of old
Coming through the clouds of gold
He'll reign one-thousand years
Followed with no tears
A new heaven and earth.
For the children of rebirth,
An eternity spent with him.
And through the clouds he'll ride
For never has he died!
Come to conquer sins of old
Coming through the clouds of gold
