My head aches,
My throat is sore,
The energy this cold takes,
I'm tired to the core.
I'm sneezing,
I'm sniffling,
I'm coughing,
I'm unable to stop.
Unable to concentrate on school,
Unable to play outside,
Unable to feel better,
What am I able to do?
Now I'm wondering what to do.
I can't do my puzzle,
and I can't watch TV,
I can't do much but school....
This is what I hate about being sick,
You're so helpless and tired,
So sad. What can make you happy?
My music, music saves me when I'm down.
My music fills my ears,
The joy washes away all my tears,
The words fill my heart with so much meaning,
And I know what to do when I'm sick.
