sorry for the delay~

Jongin's POV

"Out? Where?" I questioned, confused by the sudden declaration. Sehun simply grinned, reassuring me.

"Don't worry about it, Baekhyun and Chanyeol will arrange that, they're coming along, too," he dismissed, turning back to his phone. Okay, then.

"Come on, kids, dinner's here," Tao called from upstairs, and I held out a hand to help Sehun off the ground. He suddenly pulled me into an embrace, chin resting on my shoulder. No words were exchanged.

I knew Tao would be waiting (actually, I lied, he'd probably start eating without us..), but I let Sehun do as he pleased.

"Are you okay?" I whispered, gently resting a hand on his waist and pulling back to look at his face. I studied his expression. There were signs of hesitance written over his face, but he looked me in the eye.

"Are we... Dating?" He took his bottom lip between his teeth, gnawing at it shyly. I was silent for a moment, before smiling to myself and pulling him in for a kiss.

I tangled my free hand into his hair, while Sehun stood stiff, surprised.

"Is that answer enough?" I breathed against his mouth, taken aback when he abruptly crashed our lips together a second time.

"Not quite,"

I suppressed a chuckle, tugging at his hair as he raised his hands to cup my cheeks. We were in our own world, until a loud yell made us both jump back.

"You two better not be fucking in my newly renovated basement! I just cleaned the floor, for fucks sake!" Tao's angry voice echoed through the house, and I laughed at his outburst.

"Let's go, I'm starving," Sehun beamed, grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs. We found Tao stuffing his face with fried chicken, and I gaped, immediately teleporting beside it.

"Taoohmygodyourethebestroommateever." Sehun raised a brow at my jumbled words, but I already had a piece of chicken in my mouth, moaning at the taste. Tao shot us a suspicious glare, the words he spoke muffled from the food that he was still in the midst of chewing.

"So ish my floor shafe from your man juishes?" He narrowed his eyes before stuffing another piece into his mouth, almost threateningly. Sehun choked on air, reddening at the accusation.

"Don't worry, you interrupted us just in time," I smiled, and Tao fake gagged.

"Hyung, did you make this soup?" Sehun had us both turning our heads, curiously inspecting a bowl of green-ish liquid that most definitely did not look edible. Tao practically sprinted across the room, pushing Sehun aside with wide eyes.

"You don't want to drink that. Yes, I made it, but it's for someone else..." He seethed with anger just thinking about it, writing something down on a sticky note and placing it just in front of the bowl.

DO NOT DRINK.

Sehun and I exchanged a look, waiting for Tao's explanation.

"I have ants. In my room. And they won't go away! So I tried dipping a tissue paper into this soup I made, it has some poisonous liquid that kills insects. I found the hole they were coming in from, and stuffed the tissue paper in there. So far, it's working! Aren't I a genius?" He smiled cheekily, skipping gleefully back towards the kitchen table and plopping down onto his seat. He noticed Sehun hadn't eaten yet, and pulled him closer to the table.
