"I can't believe we're almost seniors," I said to Jade and Piper as I walked down the hall with them.

"Enough about nearly being seniors, I wanna know how your one month went." Jade smiled, bumping me lightly.

I held my left hand up, "He gave me this promise ring."

"Aww," Jade cooed, taking my hand and studying the ring.

"Cute," Piper said, but I knew she didn't really want to hear it.

I talked to them more about what happened, then went to look for James.

"Hey babe," I smiled, when I finally found him in front of his locker, talking to another guy.

"Hey, what's up?" He asked, putting his arm around me.

"I got a B plus on my exam!" I said excitedly, smiling.

"Awe thats great darling." He smiled at me.

I smiled back.

"Oh by the way, this is my friend Alec, he just moved here last week." He said, introducing us.

"Where'd you move from?" I asked.

"Miami," He answered before his eyes roamed down my body then back up to me.

I felt a little uncomfortable.

"Hey can we go? I don't wanna be late to lunch." I asked James.

"Yeah sure. I'll catch up with you later Alec!" James said before entertwining our hands and walking toward the cafeteria.

Should I tell him Alec just literally checked me out? He gave me a weird vibe.

"Did you see what Alec just did back there?" I asked.

"No, what did he do?" James asked as ae sat down at a vacant table for lunch.

"He checked me out." I said uncomfortably.

He didn't say anything for a few minutes.

"You're joking, right?" He asked, looking at me.

"Uh- no. His eyes roamed all over me, I was fraught."

"Wait- really?" He asked.

"Yeah, I wouldn't lie to you about it." I said.

He sighed, "Can't even have a guy friend without them checking out my girlfriend."

I bit into my sandwich.

"Did I do something wrong? Are you mad at me?" I asked him.

"I'm not mad at you, I don't have a reason to be," James replied as he cupped my inner thigh with his hand.

"Okay." I said, looking out onto the road as he drove me home.

"Hey, do you wanna come to a party with me this weekend?" He asked.

"What kind of party?" I asked.

"Like a end of the year one." He said.

"I guess, who's having it?" I asked.

"Some guys on the football team, It'll be at some huge house they're renting out I guess," He shrugged.

I nodded. Hopefully Aunt Emma would let me go.

"Can we go to a party this weekend?" I asked Aunt Emma with James by my side.

"Is your mom letting you go?" She asked him.

"Yep, you can call and ask her." James replied.

After Aunt Emma talking to James mom for a little while, they both agreed that we could go.

"I'll walk you upstairs." James said, carrying my backpack for me.

Once we got to my room, I closed my door and sat down on my bed.

"What are you thinking?" He laughed, sitting next to me.

"Nothing..." I teased, before leaning in to kiss him.

He kissed me back and put his left hand on the back of my neck.

He finally pulled me into his lap as we kept kissing, not saving any space for air.

He finally pulled back and looked up at me, breathless.

I ran my hands through his hair, the silence engulfing us.

I finally laid my head on his chest as we laid down on my bed.

He kissed my temple, wrapping his arms around me, making me feel warm inside.

"I love you," I said, playing with his shirt.

"I love you." He said back to me.

I closed my eyes, tired from the long school day.

He kissed my temple, down my face, then kissed all over my collar bone and neck.

I felt relaxed, like I did most of the time when we were together.

"Are you tired?" He asked.

"Very," I said. "Can you get me some pajamas from my drawer?" I asked him.

"Yeah," He replied.

He got up from the bed, searching through my drawers before pulling out some black leggings, and a old tee shirt.

"Are you gonna go in the bathroom to change, should I close my eyes or what." He laughed a little.

I got up from the bed, setting the clothes on my desk.

"No, it's fine, I'll just change right here." I said, my back facing him.

"Babe you don't-" He said, but I started changing anyway.

I gently took my shirt over my head, and I could nearly feel his eyes burning holes into my back, staring all over me.

My heart rate rose up, making my breaths unsteady.

I put the pajama shirt on, then took off my jeans I'd been wearing.

I folded them neatly, setting them on my desk.

I finally put the leggings on, then grabbed my hairbrush and starting to brush my hair.

I went and sat on the bed with my brush.

"You didn't have to do that," He said.

"I know. But I wanted too. Because I want to be more comfortable around you." I replied.

He nodded.

"Can you brush my hair, it's really long and I get frustrated easily." I laughed.

"Yeah," He said. I turned around, sitting between his legs as he ran the brush through my hair.

"Your hair is so pretty," He commented, running his hands through it.

"I try," I laughed.
