"Let's go swimming.." I whined as James and I sat on the couch doing nothing.

"Finee," He agreed.

I took his hand and led him upstairs, before I grabbed my black bikini and went into the bathroom to change.

This bikini was a little cheeky, so I hoped he didn't stare at my butt the whole time.

I brushed my hair and pulled it up before taking off my makeup.

I finally came back out, James was already in his swimming trunks.

"Damn mami," He said.

"Huh?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Te ves preciosa." He said.

"What?" I asked.

He slightly smiled, shaking his head.

"Wait wait- do you speak spanish?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah, I do." He said.

"Why haven't you told me this?" I asked.

"Because I rarely ever talk in spanish anymore," He said, shrugging.

"Wait so are you like half mexican or something?" I asked, confused.

"My mom is but I'm not. And I've taken spanish classes online." He nods.

I nod back.

"So wait what'd you say?" I asked.

"I said you look gorgeous and sexy," He laughed.

I giggled, hitting his arm.

"Babe come here," He said.

"What?" I asked, walking to him.

He took my hand and pulled me closer to him.

He leaned down and kissed me, before slyly sliding his hands down and squeezing my butt.

I yelped and giggled, breaking the kiss.

"I should change, if you're gonna stare the whole time," I said before walking back toward my dresser.

"No no no, it's fine come on," He said, grabbing my hand.

"Fine," I laughed before pulling on a pair of loose shorts and sliding on my flip flops.

I followed him downstairs where we got water bottles and towels from the bathroom.

"How long do you think you guys are gonna be gone?" Joey asked us.

"Oh I don't know- maybe an hour or two. Why?" I asked.

"Because we're all going out to dinner tonight, James your mom and brother are going to." Joey said, just as Daniel walked in.

"Oh, okay." I said.

I grabbed my towel and water off the counter and walked outside and headed toward the pond.

"Where's your ring?" James asked once he noticed I didn't have it on.

"On my dresser, I didn't wanna lose it in the pond." I replied.

"Okay." He answered.

"Why do you think we're all going out to dinner tonight?" I asked.

"I don't know- maybe for your aunt to get to know my mom?" He suggested.

I nodded, but it seemed weird for all of us to go out together.

Maybe thats what adults do when they're kids are dating each other- start doing everything together.

We finally got to the pond, the shining water seemed to beckon us in.

I slipped off my shorts and flip flops, then put my towel and water down, as did James.

"Dangg I got lucky," James said.

I noticed he was staring at me and smiling.

"Stop staring you're making me uncomfortable." I laughed.

"Shh, you know you like it." He whispered to me before running off the dock, jumping into the water.

I sat on the dock with my legs dangling off.

"Are you gonna get in?" He asked.

"Eventually," I giggled.

He pulled himself up and sat beside me, putting his arm around me.

I looked out on the water, thinking.

He planted kisses on my shoulders, making me smile.

"Get in the water baby." He laughed a little.

I sighed and stood up on the dock, James behind me.

"Okay well if you don't wanna get in yourself- I'll help you." He said, before lifting me up and putting me over his shoulder.

"James!" I laughed, hitting his back playfully.

"Put me down!" I yelped when he tickled the back of my legs.

He jumped into the water, the cool liquid making me feel better.

"You're mean," I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Am I really?" He asked, gripping my waist with his hands and pressing his lips to my forehead.

"Of course not." I smiled.

We got out a little while later, walking back home.

"Okay good, you guys are back." Daniel said, drinking his water.

"When are we leaving? Where are we going? Is it formal?" I asked.

"We're leaving in about an hour, we're going downtown to eat, and semi-formal." Daniel replied.

"Okay, I'm gonna go home and get ready then." James said.

I walked with him to the door.

"Okay bye- I love you." I said, standing on my tip toes to kiss him.

He kissed me, "I love you to."

I finally went upstairs and showered, then got out and curled my hair a little bit.

I finally changed into the dress I was wearing, a champagne-white one that came down to a little bit above my knees.

I tied a small bow in my hair, then did my makeup.

I hope I didn't look to formal, besides, Daniel would probably be wearing a suit, along with Joey.

Finally putting on my shoes, I walked downstairs to find everyone ready.

Julia and Aiden were dressed nicely, Aunt Emma had a dress on, and Daniel and Joey had on matching suits.

"Aww, my baby cousin looks so pretty." Daniel said, rushing over and hugging me.

"Thanks Danny," I smiled.

"James is gonna love you even more." He laughed a little.

We finally headed to the car, all of us getting in.

"Are we meeting them at the restaurant?" I asked.

"Yeah." Aunt Emma answered.

I nodded, then pulled out my phone and played some games.

Julia began whining about the long ride, although we were only about ten minutes away now.

"Julia, Aiden, can you kids pleaae behave yourselves tonight?" Aunt Emma asked, eyeing the both of them.
They both sighed, but we eventually got to the restaurant.
