Brandon POV
it had been smooth sailing so far, but I felt something coming. our second bus ride would come to an end in about an hour. we were all starting to ease up a little and relax, it was still scary though knowing we could be caught at any moment. I didn't want to worry Callie, but I had already blown thorough half the money I had brought.
Callie POV
the bus rides had become routine, Jude was feeling safer and even laughed and joked now. Brandon kept a strong face but I could see his confidence about running away was wearing off. I hoped he would never regret leaving his family and entire life behind for me.
the bus stopped, and we got off and headed into the bus station yet again. me and Jude waited on a nearby bench, well Brandon checked on the next bus ride. Brandon came over too us.
Brandon- there's no more bus rides leaving until tomorrow
Callie- what will we do tonight?
Brandon- lets go find a motel, or somewhere to stay tonight
when we found a nearby motel, I saw Brandon pay out the money for the room. even though it was only one night, it cost quite a lot.
I woke up in the middle of the night, and saw Brandon wasn't lying in bed. he was on the edge of the bed bent over. I reached for him, wrapped my arms around him from behind.
Callie- hey, what's wrong?
Brandon- I don't know if were goanna make it Callie
Callie- what are you talking about? what aren't you telling me?
Brandon- I thought the money I brought would last us a lot longer
Callie- we'll get by, I mean you said after the last bus ride tomorrow we can find somewhere to settle down for awhile.
Brandon- yeah but still it will be hard
Callie- You'll get a job, I'll get one too
Brandon- things shouldn't have to be like this
he turned to face me
Callie- we'll do whatever it takes, I love you
Brandon- I love you too
one kiss turned out into a quiet make out session, I kissed his neck and he let out a quiet moan.
Brandon- Callie.. we should stop
I retreated away from him
Callie- yeah I know
Brandon- I really wish we could though
Callie- yeah me too
