Chapter 17: Her weak side

Minulat ko ang mga mata ko.

Black.

It's all black na may konting liwanag na hindi ko alam kung saan galing.

I'm in this dark dimension again. At alam kong lalabas na naman siya.

"Ano na namang kailangan mo?" umalingawngaw ang boses ko.

A lady stepped out revealing her very angelic face who wears a long black dress.

"The master is getting stronger," bungad niya sa'kin.

"I know," sagot ko. Magkaharap kami ngayong nakatayo.

"Hindi mo pa ba talaga kayang tanggapin ang lahat ng kapangyarihan mo, Shea? Your life as a human is short. Baka 'di mo magawa ng maayos ang mga tungkulin mo," she said. Her voice is very relaxing compared to who she is.

"I'm ready to accept it. Just wait for my signal, Seraphina." Nakita ko ang pagkagulat sa mukha niya. Pero agad rin itong napalitan ng ngiti. Ang ganda niya talaga, mala-anghel pero alagad pala ng kadiliman.

"We don't have much time. Especially malapit na ang festival."

Napakunot ang noo ko. "Bakit? Anong meron sa festival?"

"Hintayin mo na lang na ang Goddess na mismo ang magsabi sa 'yo. For now, I have to train you," sabi niya sa 'kin.

"Train me for what?"

"To fight. To defend your kingdom. The demon who caused destruction two weeks ago in the academy was very eager to see their queen. You know it won't be called a kingdom without a King or a Queen who has the power to lead its nation. They need you, Alysia." mahaba niyang paliwanag.

"Just give me more time, Seraphina. I'll decide during the festival."

"Won't it be too late?" she asked hesitantly.

I grinned. "Trust me. I know what I'm doing."

Napatango naman siya at ngumiti sa 'kin. "You had grown, Alysia. You are mature enough to handle situations. I am expecting more from you."

Since I entered this academy, marami na ang nagbago sa 'kin. But nah, I'll stay as the Shea they used to know. Besides, I'm enjoying being a nerd.

"May sasabihin ka pa ba?" tanong ko.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Please don't freak out after you woke up," she said and smiled evily. Lumabas ang magagandang set ng ngipin niya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Bakit nasan ba ako?

"See you," she snapped her fingers and disappeared.

Nagising ako sa mahihinang ingay sa kwarto. It looks like a television. Kelan pa nagkaroon ng TV sa dorm ko?

An image of a guy appeared habang nakaupo sa sofa at nanonood. Napakunot ang noo ko. I cupped my face and—

"What the f*ck!"

Napamura ako ng wala sa oras nang maramdaman kong hindi ko suot ang disguise ko. Napabangon din ako at tiningnan ko ang iba pang bahagi ng aking katawan. My skin color changed. Natanggal lahat ng mga disguise ko sa katawan!

And there was a guy in the room and probably saw all of it!

"Oh look, the nerd's awake. Or rather the nerd in disguise?" he flashed an evil smile as he saw me. Bakit nandito na naman ako?
