I watched, horrified, as Taylor landed on top of Haiden. I moved forward to help Haiden, but Haiden quickly threw Taylor off of him and then lunged at him. He punched Taylor in the jaw and I winced as Taylor went flying. But before he hit the ground he rolled to land on his feet. Taylor glared at Haiden as he stood up.

Next to me a gun went off, causing me to jump. Taylor dodged the bullet, his eyes wide with shock, and I quickly looked to the owner of the gun. To my shock it was Peter. He was walking to Haiden's side.

"We need to take him down fast," Peter mumbled. "The sooner the better since I have a bad feeling he'll run off."

Haiden nodded and ran to Taylor who's fangs shot out. Peter shot at Taylor again and he dodged again, but this time Haiden lunged at Taylor before he could think. The both of them went falling to the ground and Haiden was suddenly pinning Taylor to the grassy field. The other demon hunters ran over to Haiden and before I knew it, there was a demon hunter grabbing each of his limbs, leaving him unable to move. I found my racing heart calming as Taylor could no longer hurt anyone I cared about.

Staring at Taylor, I found myself wondering what he did. I couldn't help but feel angry already because I knew everything was all his fault. Seeing the way he attacked Haiden, I knew he had to be behind what happened to Haiden five years ago. Because of that, I found myself hating the guy that was pinned to the ground meters away.

Peter walked over to Taylor and told the demon hunters to force him to sit up. They did that and soon Taylor was on his knees, facing Haiden and Peter who were glaring at him. All of his limbs were being held by four separate demon hunters. A fifth one was holding his head up, forcing him to keep eye contact with Haiden and Peter.

"Okay, we have questions and you better answer them," Peter said, dead serious. "Got that?"

Taylor rolled his eyes and I watched as Haiden tensed. I went over to his side, wanting him to remain calm. No matter what Taylor did, violence was still not the answer to our problems.

"What did you mean by Hadien should've died five years ago?" Peter asked. "Were you a part of that event?"

Taylor shot Peter a hateful look. He didn't say anything as we stared at him, awaiting an answer. That seemed to anger Peter as he stiffened.

"Answer me," Peter demanded. "You're not exactly in the position to remain silent."

"You really think I'll give you answers to the questions that would get me in trouble?" Taylor asked, snorting. "You demon hunters are morons. Do you really think bad guys are ever willing to do the right thing?"

"Oh god," Lydia said, bringing our attention to her.

She walked over to Peter and extended a hand out to him. Peter frowned, seeming confused, and Lydia sighed.

"You're gun," she said. "Give me your gun."

Peter stared at Lydia, seeming hesitant, but then he gave his gun to her. I was truly amazed then. Somehow Peter had softened up to The Demons in our little time together. I was touched and happy at the sight.

"Look," Lydia said, aiming her gun at Taylor. "You're going to talk or else I'll shoot you."

Taylor snorted, looking unimpressed. Lydia shook her head then and shot Taylor's leg, causing him to shout out in pain. I couldn't help but close my eyes for a brief moment because I hated seeing others in pain.

"I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to make you suffer," Lydia said, smirking. "For as long as you don't answer our questions, I will shoot your legs until you slowly bleed to death."
