Day 14- 1:32pm
We arrived into the town and promptly booked a motel room. We walked down the hall and Lucifer kept looking around and scrunching up his nose.

"How are you not grossed out by this?" Lucifer asked. I let out a small laugh.

"I'm immune," I smiled unlocking the door to our room. That was a strange thought- our room. I stepped into the room and groaned. "I said two twins!" Once the room predicament was remedied I finally set my bag down on the bed. Lucifer pulled back the sheets of his bed.

"Do I want to know what that stain is?" He asked, staring at a slightly brown stain on his bed.

"Oh don't worry it's just blood, it's old enough where you won't catch anything," I answered.

"Lovely," he sighed. "You know what screw this crap." He snapped his fingers and the room looked new. I smiled slightly at the mint on my bed.

"Nice touch," I laughed as I popped the mint into my mouth.

"What's up with your hands?" Lucifer asked, walking over and taking the sprained one in his hands.

"I hurt it on a punching bag," I shrugged. Lucifer blinked and I felt the familiar warmth of his grace healing my wounds. He let out a sigh and tilted my chin up so our eyes met.

"If you ever need to be healed just tell me. Okay?" His voice was soft, almost melodic. I nodded and our eyes lingered for a just a moment before we stepped apart.

"So we need to go to the police station," I spoke after clearing my throat. "So you conjure up a suit and I'll take care of the rest." I walked back outside and grabbed my suit. I also grabbed everything I needed to make Lucifer a fake FBI badge. I changed in the bathroom and came out to find Lucifer looking very nice in a suit. He saw me in the mirror while trying to do his tie.

"Millie... you uh-" he turned around and gaped at me. I tried to hide my blush. I have to admit I do look good in a suit. I had pulled my hair up into a neat bun and put on a bit of make up. I stepped towards him and tied his tie. I grabbed the camera. "Say cheese."

Day 14- 3:48
We pulled up to the police station and got out.

"Just follow my lead," I whispered to him. I stepped in and went to the front desk. I put on a warm smile and leaned on the counter a bit. "We need to see the sheriff."

"What for?" The secretary asked. I flashed my badge and he nodded before pressing his finger to the phone. "Sheriff there's two agents here to see you." He pointed at a door.

"Thank you," I smiled again. I knocked and the door opened. The sheriff stood there. He looked like every other sheriff I had ever met- mustache and a big belly. "Hi, I'm Agent Decker and this is Agent Ellis." I held up my badge and Lucifer did too- but it was upside down. I sighed and flipped it the right way for him. I looked to the sheriff. "Sorry about him. It was a long drive."

"I wasn't expecting you," the sheriff eyed the two of us.

"Five mysterious deaths in two months, the office wanted it checked out," Lucifer shrugged.

"So what do you need?" The sheriff questioned.

"Well I need a list of victims and any witnesses," I answered. "Oh and we heard the the graves were messed with?"

"Yeah, all five of the victims graves were dug up, but the lab says it was wolves that killed them and dug up the graves too," the sheriff replied, he looked just as skeptical as me.

"That why you're keeping this on the down low? Don't want any panic?" I asked. The sheriff nodded and handed me a file. "Thanks, you find anything just give me a call." I handed him a card. As we walked out of the police station my phone started ringing.

"Oh boy," Lucifer mumbled. I gave him a 'oh shit' look and pulled my phone from my pocket. I put it to my ear to get an ear full from Dean.

"EMILY JUDE WINCHESTER WHERE ARE YOU?! YOUR HUNTING BAG IS GONE AND SO IS YOUR LAPTOP!" He yelled.

"Dean, chill," I cut him off.

"I will not chill, Millie! Get your ass back here right now!" I could hear Cas trying to calm him down in the background.

"Bro, chill out. I'm fine I've got Luci with me," I replied. Lucifer smiled slightly at the nickname.

"You're with Lucifer?!" Dean yelled, I cringed and pulled my phone away from my ear. "Yeah, Michael, they're with each other!" I glanced at Lucifer.

"We're both in trouble now," I mumbled to him. "Sorry Dean I think the call is breaking up." I hung up on him.

"We're dead when we get back aren't we?" Lucifer sighed.

"Oh yeah," I replied.

Day 14- 9:48pm
"All the same," I sighed getting into my car after interviewing the last widowed spouse. "I'd say it was a werewolf from the descriptions of the attacks, but the hearts aren't missing from any of the victims at least not when they are attacked."

"So something else?" Lucifer asked. I nodded and started the car. "We could check the- the library I believe it is called?"

"Yep. We'll check some stuff out there," I answered. When we returned to the motel I grabbed my laptop and searched. Lucifer sat across from me at the table reading through the lore books. It was nearly midnight when I could see the tiredness in his movements. "You go ahead to sleep and I'll keep looking."

"No. I'm not tired," Lucifer rubbed at his eyes and yawned and I rolled my eyes. "Maybe that's a good idea." It was all of five minutes after he crawled into the the gorgeous beds he had created that I heard quiet snores. I couldn't help but smile. Soon enough I was asleep as well.
