I guess Mario forgot about me upstairs because he was just downstairs in the kitchen. I walked down stairs to try to talk to him.
"Mario are you o-"
"LEAVE ME ALONE." He yelled.
I was shocked. What? Did Mario just yell at me? Already?
"Mario it's me Ale-"
He turned around and yelled even louder,
"I DON'T CARE." He said.
I was so confused, I didn't even know what was wrong with him.
He finally went into reality and saw ME standing in front of him. I'm not good with hiding my feelings so he gave me a look as if he was really sorry.
"Alex." He started.
"I'm so sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me. I guess it's just that I'm so worried about not being good enough for you. I didn't want you to see that side of me but Julian and Jovani were just really getting to me, and I wasn't being myself. I'm really sorry. I regret everything I said. To you, and to them." He said.
I knew Mario really meant it when a tear fell from his eye.
"Oh Mario it's okay, it's okay. Don't cry. I'm fine, and everyone gets mad so it's normal. And don't ever be worried about being enough for me because you're an amazing boyfriend. How about we make plans with Julian and Jovani tomorrow so that we can all talk." I said.
"That sounds like a good idea. I'm so sorry Alex." He said while grabbing my hand.
"It's okay Mario. I love you" I said.
"I love you too."
My mom ended up picking me up, and Mario put us all in another group chat.
