What Should I Do?

I know it's not what you want

What Should I do?

Dear Lord Please help me

I don't know what to do.

It's required for me to read,

But I know that it's wrong!

Should I read it for my grades?

Or refuse for my faith?

It's short, won't take long,

But just a little influence

Could make a difference.

Because it's for school

Even my mom says do it.

And I know in your word you say

Honor Your Father and Mother

But does that include what's not right?

You also say to do what's good

I'm debating within my head

Then it goes to my heart

A very tough decision

Obey, or defend?

What should I do?

Music seems to console me

I listen to my favorite group

What amazing songs!

I go to one of my favorites

Instantly I know the answer

Those two phrases hold the key!

"Help me be a living Bible....."

"Lord I wanna be just like you!"

I now know what to do

Thank you Lord for helping me!

I now know what I should do......
