He was curious about you. He had seen you around the temple several times and he couldn't help but wonder who you were. You almost never spoke, and when you did, it was only to discuss with Ancient One about certain spells or about training.

He only knew your name and age, but other then that he had no clue who you were. The only time he tried to talk with you after your daily session of training, in the blink of his eyes you were gone from the training grounds.

He didn't know why he was taking that situation seriously. After all, you were a normal sorcerer like everyone in that temple. But there was something about you that caught his interest.

He couldn't help but stop and watch as you sparred with several sorcerers. He had watched with amazement as you moved towards one of them with graceful movements, achieving a clean blow to the face and followed by a perfect landing.

He thought you were perfect. He shook his head quickly, trying to pry those thoughts out of his mind. He couldn't be falling for you, or was he?

He was extremely confused about his feelings towards you. He wondered how he would feel if he knew about you. Would it be better or worse than how he is now?

As he looked back at you, he let out a sigh of defeat, seeing how you were gone quickly. He stood up and headed with quick steps to his room, deciding he would end the day and head to sleep.

Or at least he considered it sleeping since he would spend his nights reading books about spells and sorcery, usually really going to bed long after midnight.

When midnight came around, his eyes snapped open, the book he had been reading in his astral form landing on the floor with a loud thud, which resonated around the room and interrupting the peaceful silence that was there before.

He looked around his room in confusion, his hands moving up to rub the sleepiness out of his eyes. Why did he wake up so suddenly? He usually would have no problems with staying in his astral form throughout the night, yet he had woke up with a start.

His mind was definitely uneasy, he couldn't believe he found himself thinking once again about you. Maybe that was the cause as to why he suddenly woke up.

He pulled the covers off, shivering slightly as the cold air hit his body so suddenly. He stood up, stretching with a yawn and a slight groan as his bones popped back in place. He walked out of his room silently, the only small sound coming from the soft thuds his footsteps made on the floor.

As he exited his room, he froze on spot as he heard what he thought was soft music coming from somewhere. He payed close attention, being careful of the steps he took as he listened intently, the music becoming louder as he neared the training grounds.

As he reached the end of the hallway and out to the training grounds, he was surprised when he saw you dancing, your eyes closed and a small smile gracing your lips as you moved gracefully across the floor.

His eyes stayed trained on your dancing form, his tiredness long gone and his curiosity now becoming interest as he sat down against a pillar and watched you, not in a creepy way of course.

He had no idea you were a dancer, and he suddenly realized that you were influenced by your dancing on your training. That's why you always made graceful movements, even at the time of battle.

As the song neared its ending, he couldn't keep himself from clapping, which made you open your eyes with a start as you looked at him with slight embarrassment. You never noticed him walk out to the training grounds.

"Oh pardon me if I woke you from your sleep Doctor" You spoke up hesitantly and with a polite tone, taking a seat next to him as you crossed your legs, your gaze staying foxed in your hands, still too embarrassed to look at him.

That's why you would train past midnight, you were to shy to dance around people, but dancing was something you loved and you couldn't stop doing it. You decided on staying up late to do what you loved, and even if you ended up extremely tired, it was worth knowing you danced with passion.

Stephen watched you curiously, smiling as he ran a hand through his messy hair. "You didn't wake me up, I was rather curious as to the music coming from here." He said, his hands setting back down in his lap.

"Oh but do tell me (Y/N), why do you dance at this hour? Shouldn't you be sleeping for training tomorrow." He asked curiously, watching as you tensed slightly.

"I enjoy dancing, and even though I can't do it throughout the day, I prefer to do it at night." You responded shyly, your fingers running across your hair as you fixed it into a braid.

He stood up, offering you a hand to stand up, which you gladly took since your legs hurt terribly. He guided you to the kitchen, where he set some water to boil so he could fix you some tea.

You took a seat in front of him, watching him cruiously. "Doctor, I am curious as to why you are also awake at this hour" You questioned him hesitantly, you didn't exactly know his reasons for being up.

He stayed quiet for a moment, the only sound in the room being that of the water heating up. "I like to stay up late reading. Sorcery, spells, and many other things." He answered in somewhat a hushed tone since everyone in the temple was sleeping.

You smiled in response, looking up at him as he was now standing near the counter, preparing the tea. "I see, well it is quite an honor to get to finally meet you Doctor. You have become a legend around here." You said with enthusiasm, watching as a light red blush appeared on his cheeks.

"I'd say the same to you, I have been wanting to ask you how you moved so gracefully when fighting, but I guess that question has already been answered." He added as he set a cup of steaming tea in front of you.

"I would love to know more about you (Y/N), you seem like an interesting person." He said. He didn't know, but you were somewhat lonely in the temple, without any friends or a partner. You were truly grateful to finally be talking with someone.

And so was he.
