A/N: I haven't written anything here in a long time, but a friend of mine who loves Josh asked me to make a second part to this shot so I might even do a third one (I think I should suggest you to read the previous chapter before reading this one xD).
Hope you enjoy!
~•~I arrived early for my class. I've never liked to take classes on Friday; I always try to rearrange my schedule from Monday to Thursday, but I couldn't do it this semester. I don't regret it though because I get to see Josh in today's class and the one on Monday's.
Yesterday was a great day, and now at least I won't feel so nervous when I talk with him.
"Hey! Avalon," Josh called me out while I was sitting on the floor reading my texts.
I looked up smiling at him and realized we were the only ones out in the hallway. It was early, so I wasn't expecting anyone coming or being there anyway.
"Hey!" I greeted back.
Josh smiled and walked towards me. He sat beside me and said, "what are you doing here so early?" He asked.
"I could ask you the same thing!" I said giggling nervously.
He smiled and said, "fair point! But why are you so early, really?"
"I had an appointment with Mr. Simmons, but he wasn't there," I shrugged, and I saw him slightly frown, "I didn't know what else to do so I came here right away to wait for our class," I said.
"He is so irresponsible," he said still frowning, "I emailed him once to go to office hours, and he never answered. I asked him after class three days later, and he said he couldn't see me until three weeks later."
"No way!" I exclaimed laughing, "I should've known."
He laughed softly, "don't you wanna go for a walk, or go for some coffee?" He asked sounding a little nervous.
I smiled stupidly and blushed. I looked at my hands to hide my nervousness—or to at least try—and I answered, "Yeah!"
"Okay, c'mon!" He exclaimed standing up and picked up my backpack, and as soon as he put it on his shoulder he offered me his hand.
"Oh, you don't have to take my backpack!" I exclaimed.
"No problem, I've got it," he said with his hand still hanging.
I took his hand, and he helped me up, "thank you!"
"Welcome!" He exclaimed looking into my eyes, "so what did you choose, walking or coffee?" He asked as we started to walk down the hallway.
"Walking sounds good! I'm afraid if I say coffee you'll pay for it again like you did yesterday."
"I was just trying to be a gentleman; I made you stay longer," he chuckled.
"Well, I didn't mind it! I could've stay longer and pay for my coffee, and I would still be talking to you now," I said and laughed shortly.
"Okay, okay! Let's go for some coffee then-"
"I'll pay this time!" I exclaimed before he could say anything else.
"Totally fine with me!" He said giggling.
We walked out of the building and headed to the cafeteria. We stayed awhile talking and drinking our coffee until it was time for our class, so we headed back to our classroom and sat at the end of the room next to each other. His friends came in and sat near us, gazing at me in surprise, but they talked to me as if I had sat with them all of these weeks. My friend Katherine entered in just in time, and when she saw where I was, she widened her eyes in shock and walked towards me.
