Bryn Atkinson's POV

I tried shaking Eliazer awake. I began getting terrified once I saw him fall to the ground.

"Eliazer? Eliazer wakes up." I whispered, gently slapping his face repeatedly. I shakily got up, serving a cup of water before splashing it, note a bit too harshly, on his face. He gasped at the sensation, wide eyed and fully awake. I sighed in relief as I saw him looking fine.

He looked at my hands before looking back at me. "Where is it?" He asked as he hastily got up, looking around the room.

"It's on the table, from somebody who identified themselves as Silent," I replied, furrowing my eyebrows. That changed when I realize how smart I just sounded. I shook my head.

I have better things to think about.

Eliazer just stood there, unmoving, looking at the rose. I stood up from my kneeling position, looking at him carefully.

"What's wrong?" I asked him carefully.

"Stay away from that guy." He whispered.

"But this is the first time I ev-"

"I said stay away from him!" He yelled his face flushing red as tears quickly pooled in his eyes. I was scared, not because of him, but because of the fact that he was consumed by fear. He paced around the kitchen, running his hands through his hair whilst furrowing his eyebrows as confusion dawned his tear strained face.

"I-I'm so sorry Bryn. I-I didn't mean to snap." He sobbed as he avoided all eye contact. "I'm such a fucking prick."

"Hey, it's okay. I won't go near him, I promise." I said, getting near him as I tried to engulf him in a hug, unsuccessfully due to the fact Eliazer was bigger than me. My arms went around his waist as his went around my shoulders. He rested his chin above my head and he sobbed quietly as I rubbed my arm up and down his back soothingly. I don't know, but this was the only thing I can do.

The only thing that made us feel better.

I've been feeling troubled after the crazed incident with Eliazer. Afterward, we immediately let go of each other when Jared walked in through the door.

To say it was awkward.

Anyways, Aspen has been on my case about my so called 'secret boyfriend'.

"C'mon, just tell me already. Who is it?" Aspen asked, laying down on my bed like a little girl, fists underneath his chin.

"Th-there's nobody, I promise." I chuckled.

"Oh, yea? Then why are you blushing goofy?" He replied, smiling cheekily as he pinched my cheeks.

"I-I'm not!" I argued back, slapping his hands away.

"Well, there's someone. You just don't want to tell your big brother about it." He pouted.

"Aspen, I swear there's nobody!" I laughed, trailing my arms.

"Well, there's someone, you just don't know who." He said, rolling onto his back while letting out a sigh. "Don't worry Bryn, you'll find your soul mate."

"Do you believe in soul mates?" I asked him a bit seriously.

"Well, I believe in someone specially made for you, so yeah I guess," Aspen replied, resting his hands on the back of his head. It does make sense, sometimes couples are the complete opposite of each other, but on other occasions, they're sometimes exactly the same. It's scary, to be honest.
