Isabel POV

I went to the local library in Alora. I was intrigued by Giovanni.

A wolf on fire.

What does it symbolize?

When I couldn't remember all the other tattoos except for that one because it called out so much. It was big and covered his entire arm. It looked so realistic. On his back was a large eagle attacking a large scorpion. His tattoos were bloody and brutal. All except for one.

I noticed on Giovanni's chest he had a tattoo with fancy writing.

Rhiana.

Who was Rhiana?

I googled 'Giovanni, Italy.'

"Facebook. Instagram. Twitter. Dame nothing." The librarian shushed me and I groaned and rolled eyes. She was always rude to everyone she saw.

I started to think,

'What else can I search on Google? Google has everything.'

I closed my eyes to think back to earlier today.

During lunch, it was quiet as the radio played opera. I couldn't help but stare at Gio's tattoos.

"What does this one represent?" I asked tapping on his forearm.

"A dog." He responded blandly.

A dog. It didn't look like a dog. I can try wolf. I couldn't find a picture except for a name.

Fiorelli.

That's impossible. Everybody knows that the late Italian mob boss, Giovanni Fiorelli, was never seen in public. He was never caught by the police, yet he was caught in the hands of death.

I knew I was in a dead end. I couldn't find not one piece of information. Not even on that specific wolf tattoo. I sighed and checked out a book then left the library.

I got on Midnight then rode back to the ranch. I walked into the house hearing opera music and singing. I took off my jacket and hung it up. I went into the kitchen and there were two bottles of wine. They were both empty and I saw Gio sitting at table.

He was sitting at the same place where I left him. I saw that the time was 6 in the afternoon. I sighed and just knew that Gio was drunk. I did not know how he could be so I decided to approach him cautiously.

"Giovanni?" He turned around in his seat. "Hey......are you alright?"

"N-no. I'm not." He finished drinking another glass of wine and put it down. He looked at it and I slowly placed my hand on his back while I pushed the wine glass away with the other hand.

"What's wrong?" I asked while I ran my fingers through his luscious hair.

"Don't......don't do.....do that." He grabbed my wrist and made me look into his drunken eyes. "It drives me crazy." He kissed my hand and his lips traced my skin up along my arm.

I started to get shivers up my spine. What was happening to me? Was I really feeling something for him? I thought it was simple flirting.

"You are my Saint"

"You are God sent you know that Angel?"

"You are the most beautiful thing my eyes has come to see."

"My Bella."

"Bella......"

I was in a trance as I closed my eyes and heard Giovanni's voice. He may be drunk now, but in all my life I never knew what it was like to love another man other than my father. Was I truly in love?

"Bella....... Don't leave me again. Please. I can't live without you." He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face in my stomach. "You are too good for me. I don't deserve you."

"Gio. I know it's early but......let's get you up to bed. Come on." I struggled to get him up and he moaned as he swayed and kept complaining about how he wished he never made me leave. I laid him in my bed and plopped on the mattress.

"I didn't......did..... didn't want to break your heart!"

"Shh........Giovanni calm down you didn't break my heart." I took off his shirt and he laid on his stomach. I caressed his tattooed back mesmerized by the eagle attacking the scorpion. I kissed his back.

Just when I was about to leave, Giovanni turned on his side to face me. He took my small hand in his large hand.

"Stay."

I smiled at him softly and caressed his cheek. I couldn't say no.
