I was casually walking down the street when like any topical day I see flashy air and expect a monster. I get my pen. I prepare myself. I wait.
Wait. What the it is no monster but a.....machine? this is officially a weird day. And that is saying a LOT.
The machine doors open and I hide like any person who knows how to not DIE. A boy and girl walk out yelling at each other .
"Tobias what was that for! I was about to save my brother and you stopped me! You know I could have survived it!" The girl screamed with tears streaming down her face.
The boy ,who I'm gonna guess is Tobias replied " I did it for you! I know it seems crazy but u saved your butt. I guess now it doesn't matter be-"
He turned towards me and pulled a shotgun out of his jacket. Who are these people and what are they doing here?
He said "I think I...no never mind that! because of you Tris we are hundreds of years in the past."
Tris(I think) started arguing with Tobias and I took my chance. Anabeth lent me her invisibility cap earlier that day thank the gods! Ok truthfully I borrowed it without asking but we're buddies so it's ok.
I put it on and "vanished" then crept behind them into the machine.
