Kareem

As we pulled up to dessert that her warehouse slanted goosebumps washed over my skin; this shit felt like riding through some ghost town, scary as hell.

"Just give me a minute let me check." She said as she removed her seat belt.

"I'm coming with you." I said removing mine." I don't trust this shit, something going on." I just felt so damn uncomfortable.

"Nah, that's alright I won't be long, damn your ass so damn paranoid." She cursed.

"Stef, shit doesn't make sense someone called you and told you they heard niggas lurking in your territory. Stef, think about this shit. It doesn't look like a set up?"

"Girl it was Stacey from the block you know the one you make them hot sales off." She said while on her phone again.

"You talking about the same Stacey that tried robbing you once. Stef you tripping you been in the game too long for this shit to slip." I argued as my phone buzzed in the cup holder.

"Stay in the car." She said slamming it shut.

I watched as she walked in the warehouse not looking. I broke out of my fright at the buzzing sound from the passenger seat. Taking it up I saw that she received a message from an unknown number.

Normally, I didn't do shit like this but something was telling me I should. As I opened the message I started to read from the top because the last message wasn't making sense.
