World Champion - Nico Rosberg

You sit at home, watching the TV in tears. Your boyfriend just won the World Championship and you couldn't be there. You had to watch your little sister. Your parents are gone on holiday and you are stuck at home. You wanted to go to Abu Dhabi so badly, but you couldn't.

But now, you see your boyfriend making donuts on the track, celebrating his title. Although he didn't win the race, he has enough points ahead of his team mate, Lewis Hamilton.

Both Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel made it very, very exciting at the end, coming very close to Nico. But he stayed ahead. You see him standing on the podium with a bright smile and tears  in his eyes. Your own tears are still running down your cheek.

The next morning, you wake by lots of noices from the living room. You get scared, but get out of bed to check it out. You take a pair of scirror's, the only object you could find in your room that's sharp.

You slowly walk down the stairs, not wanting to make a sound. Luckily, your sister was still asleep. You are preparing for the worst, as you walk into the livingroom.

The source of noise turns around, smiling brightly at you. He laughs when he sees the scissors in your hand. You turn red for a moment, before you realize what's going on.

"Nico!" you yell. You throw the scissors away and run towards him. You jump into his arms, putting your legs around his waist, while he holds you close.

"Hey baby" he says, smiling himself.

"I'm so, so proud of you!" you say, excited that you can tell him everything you wanted to tell him yesterday.

"Thank you, babe! I wished you were there yesterday, I missed you so much. So I decided to just come here" Nico explains to you. He puts you down on the floor, but keeps his arms around you.

"But, don't you have testing tomorrow?" you ask him, remembering the new tyres he has to use next year. He nods.

"Yes, I'm going back tonight, but you're coming with me" he says, smiling brightly at you. You frown.

"Nico, I can't" you start, but Nico interupts you.

"Yes, you can. I called a friend of yours, she was more than happy to watch your sister for a couple of days. She said you could've asked her before, but anyway, she's coming to get her in a couple of hours" Nico explains. You can't believe he did that. It makes you love him even more, but you didn't even know that was possible.

"That's amazing, Nico!" you tell him, hugging him again. Nico pulls away from you though, taking a step back. He suddenly looks nervous, worrying you.

"Y/N, I hope you know that I love you, very much. Yesterday, it made me realize that anything is possible, if you just work for it. You are the most important person in my life right now. Now that I've won the World Championship, I want to focuss on you. I know I've put you through hell sometimes this season and I don't want that. I want to make you feel important, because that's what you are to me. You are the love of my life" Nico says, tears already rolling down your cheeks. Nico grabs something from his pocket and kneels down on one knee. You gasp, as Nico opens the tiny box in his hand, revealing a beautiful ring.

"Y/N, will you marry me?" he asks you. You nod, straight away, with one hand over your mouth, tears streaming down your cheeks. Nico smiles brightly, putting the ring on your finger. He pulls you in a hug, kissing you passionately.

"I love you, so much" Nico tells you.

"I love you too"
