Best friends - Daniel Ricciardo

Together with your boyfriend Daniel, you're walking on the red carpet of a big event. You've never been to something like this.

It's a premiere of a movie, the film Passenger. Daniel got invited, alongside a few other drivers, and he wanted you to come along with him.

You are wearing a beautiful baby blue dress, that falls onto the floor. You are wearing white heels with it. Your hair is curled.

"Are you excited?" Daniel had asked you in the car and you could only nod. And now, you're walking hand in hand.

"Daniel!" someone calls and Daniel pulls you along with him to an interviewer. She is smiling at Daniel.

"Hello Daniel, who did you bring with you?" she asks, looking at me, not with the nicest look in her eyes.

"This is Y/N, my lovely girlfriend" Daniel says, smiling at the interviewer.

"Ah nice. Well, are you excited for the movie?"

"Very, this one here has talked to me about all week long so I can't not be excited" Daniel says and chuckles, looking at me.

"Cool. Are you looking forward to get back in the car?" she asks, once again completely ignoring you.

"Yes. I can't wait actually. Just a couple of weeks now. I also can't wait to travel again with the team"

"And to see your lovely team mate maybe?" She asks, making Daniel grin widely.

"Ah yes! I'm looking forward to seeing Max tonight as well. We'll be looking for him after we get in. His girlfriend is very close with Y/N as well, so it should be a great night" the interviewer now rolls her eyes, making Daniel frown.

"Can you like stop talking about your girlfriend?" she snaps, making Daniel grab your hand.

"Yeah, I will. Bye" he says and pulls you along with him.

"Wait! Daniel!" she yells, but Daniel ignores her. He pulls you inside and sighs, frustrated.

"Dan?" he looks at you, an angry expression on his face.

"Relax, I'm fine" You say. Daniel's face softens.

"That just pissed me off" Daniel mumbles and you nod, understanding him. Your smile widens when you see a certain blonde boy walking towards you two.

"Your best friend is here" you mumble to Daniel. Daniel turns around with a big grin. Max walks over to him, hugging your Australian boyfriend. Max's girlfriend, Mikaela, hugs you, smiling brightly at you. You love Mikaela. You and her go out together a lot, bonding over your boyfriends.

"Did you do an interview. We did one and she kept glaring at Mikaela, so weird" Max mumbles, before giving you a hug as well.

"Really? Because we did one as well and she literally asked me to stop talking about Y/N" Daniel says, as the 4 of us make our way towards our seats.

"Daniel just walked away, pulling me along" you tell the other pair, who now laugh at that. You sit down next to Daniel and Mikaela is on the other side of you.

"Do you wanna go shopping tomorrow?" Mikaela asks me, before the movie starts. You smile and nod.

"Yeah, sure!" You answer het, smiling to her.

Later that night, Max and Mikaela went home with you and Daniel, wanting to hang out with you two. We all sit down on the couch, while Daniel gets Max a beer and Mikaela a glass of wine. Daniel and I both grab a beer as well. Daniel taught me how to drink beer.

"You know what we should do?" Max suddenly asks, while putting an arm around his girlfriend.

"We should go on a holiday together. Just the 4 of us, away from the rest of the world" Max says.

"Away from the girlfriend haters" Daniel says while laughing.

"I'm in" you say, already with your mind on an island far away.

"Me too" Mikaela says, probably in the same mood as you are.

"Then let's do it!" Daniel says, as he pulls you closer.
