Jake:
Christmas morning everyone was happy and up early. When they went downstairs they were surprised by all the present for everyone. Family, friends, and more.
I had decided to get everyone a gift like dad used to. I guess in some way I felt like he was here. Everyone decided to visit. Aunt Marisa, uncle Jared, Elliot and his parents, Mathew and his parents, and uncle Harry with Steve and Calum.
"Jake?" Mom called from the kitchen. I entered the kitchen and smiled. "What is it mom?"
"Thank you" she said smiling. "For?" I say still lost. "For what you did for all of us"
"What do you mean?" She smiled sadly this time. "For helping with everything your dad did" I pulled her into a hug. "No problem mom"
We pulled away and smiled. We went back to the living room and ate and talked with everyone.
I learned one thing this Christmas, even if he is gone and everyone misses him we can still smile remembering everything he did.
"Hey Jake, Merry Christmas" Ema kissed my cheek. "Merry Christmas"
