蝶の正直; Chō no shōjiki :

.

.

translating to in english, 'honesty of the butterfly', chō no shōjiki is an illness where the victim will have butterflies awaken in their stomach. the insects will proceed to fly from their stomach, up the oesophagus and depart their lips, leaving severe stabbing pains in their wake.

victims have also noted that there is a strange constricting feeling to the left side of the chest. where the heart resides.

this will occur if they should ever lie to their love.

depending on the severity of the lie or if lies are repetitively told, the pain and severity of internal wounds will increase. there is no treatment aside from telling their love the uncensored truth, although temporary treatments can be found by the individual.

these semi-treatments differ with the person and require much trial-and-error, providing only the nullification of the butterfly's presence on the condition that the internal pain is enhanced two-fold. treatments can differ from food to a bodily action or mental image.
