A'Mirah screams.

"Now Everybody Shut The Hell Up And Listen To Me!" Daniel yells.

"Get the fuck out of this door right now." Cris commands. "Because if your father shoots that gun one more time and a bullet comes near you again I will kill him and I promise you that." Cris whispers in A'Mirah's ear.

A'Mirah holds onto her stomach. Cris picks her up and carries her to the car. "We are going to the hospital."

"For what?"

"To get you checked out. I want to know if the baby is okay."

"Cris, i'm sure the baby is fine. This is just contractions. I'm just overwhelmed right now. My head hurts." A'Mirah throws her head back and starts crying.

"The shit we do for family, huh?" Cris the tears rolling down A'Mirah's left cheek. "I'm sorry." He then puts his hand on A'Mirah's belly and rubs it. "I feel his little feet sliding down your stomach." Cris smiles.

A'Mirah looks at him smiling and it brightens her mood. She smiles at him. "What are you sorry for, baby?" She asks.

"Turning your family against you. I took it too far. I s-"

"No, no, no, no." She cuts him of and puts her hands over his hand.

"You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. If it wasn't for you I would probably still be with Sugge getting dogged, I would still be depressed and my family and I would be homeless, not to mention I would never know what real love is, because no one has ever really showed me it. No one has ever went so far and out of their way to make sure that I was okay and although you tested me, no one since my brother Daniel died has believed that I could do something great, and overcome. Nobody but you, and I am so grateful for you."

"I'm grateful for you too, baby." Cris tells her. "And I don't mean to sound controlling but you are never going back to that house. Understand?"

"I wasn't planning on it. I just don't know how i'm going to see my mom, I don't want him to hurt her. You see how he did me, there's no way he isn't doing it to her too."

"You're right." Cris turns into a parking lot.

"What are you doing?" A'Mirah asks.

"Oh, don't be silly. We're going to get your mother. If he puts his hands on her and I find out about it he's dying."

A'Mirah shakes her head. "What about your sister?"

"I can't help her. She doesn't want to be helped. I helped her by taking care of her financially, but she's not trying to get on her feet for herself. She is forty years old there is no way her thirty year old brother should be taking care of her if she is stable enough to take care of herself."

"But you have all of your families money."

Cris turns his head to A'Mirah and rolls his eyes. "No I don't."

A'Mirah starts laughing. "Why did you say it like that."

Cris laughs and shrugs. "I don't have the families money. I have my own money. If my family lived off of the money my fathers three restaurants that he has here, and in Italy then we would not be nearly as rich as we are now. All of these businesses I own is what got us where we are. Not to mention some things that you will find out once you, me and my mother all three sit down and talk."

A'Mirah nods.

They arrive back at A'Mirah's house. "Stay in this car." He tells her.

"I am."
