" No he didn't! " I said shocked, after hearing the story of what happened earlier my heart began to ache. " Yeah, but I'm cool, oh! and I quit basketball " Monroe added, " WHAT! " I yelled, " yeah " Monroe added." But why Mimi! " I asked, " Coach Riley assaulted me! I'm not gonna listen to a man who assaulted me! you know me NeNe " Monroe explained, and she was right, Monroe is a sweet sophisticated young lady, but she has a temper faster than a cheetah. " Anyways, you look cute, and I hope you have an awesome night tonight " Monroe continued. " Man Monroe are you sure you'll be ok " I said while feeling bad. " I'm fine " Monroe replied while sitting on her big pink bed." But remember what we promised " I said while looking back at her, " NeNe, tonight is your night ,not ours, you go ahead and have fun, I'll play this zombie 4 life game 2 " Monroe said while showing me the video game. Monroe might be beautiful like Marilyn Monroe, but beauty doesn't stop her from playing boyish games like Zombie 4 Life. " Alright Mimi, i'm gonna go, but call me if you want something to eat " I insisted, " ok mom " Monroe said sarcastic, then I giggled " whatever! " .
So after leaving Monroe's house, I instantly start getting nervous, what if I make a mistake?, Monroe's not here to help me patch it up!, man this date is gonna be very interesting!.
My First Date
I finally made it to the Boardwalk Arcade without ditching my date, David. " Hey, you look beautiful " David said nicely, " thank you, you look handsome yourself " I said while looking at his wardnobe.Maybe this will turn out easy after all! I said in mind, everything was great!. " Wow the boardwalk looks great! " I said while walking around, " yeah, my father owns it " he added. Then that's when I looked at him in shock," your father! " I replied, " yeap my father " he answered. Wow! he must have that good cash, but I'm not here for that, my interest is for his personality and goals in life, " most girls I dated was only with me for the money " he downed, " well... I'm not here for that... I'm here for you.... and only you " .
