The rest of Thursday went by great. Bonnie and Carter ate with Matt and Tyler, and Tyler even warmed up to his relative. They all joked around and even went out and played around at the park. Matt took her home that night, and it was magical. They ended their night spent together with a kiss, and Carter was left wide awake, thinking about her night. But the next day was friday, and it was six o'clock in the morning. The strawberry blonde giddily jumped out of her bed, singing to her, and danced her way to her closet. She decided on a floral dress, and she put her fiery locks up into a simple bun. She finished off the look with mascara and her favorite LipSmackers: watermelon.

After getting ready, she slipped on her heeled boots and danced her way down the staircase. It took about forty minutes for her to get ready, so her aunt Jackie was the only one at home. The smell of freshly brewed coffee invaded the teen's senses as she waltzed into the kitchen, spotting a mug of it left alone on the counter. Jackie's back was facing her, her spoon occassionally hitting the side of her own mug. Carter took the milk and sugar and made her coffee, her mouth watering. She sipped at the warm liquid and picked an apple from the fruit bowl.

"You have to talk to me someday," Jackie hummed after Carter bit down on the apple. She silently chewed, her eyes glued to the counter top. She was right, but it wasn't right now. "Not yet," she whispered, holding the warm mug tightly between her hands. She was silent after her statement, passing by Carter with her mug in hand. The quiet teen watched as she ascended the stairs, her light brown hair falling in neat waves down her back. As soon as her cellphone read seven, she grabbed her book bag from beside the door and poured the rest of her steaming coffee into a thermos. Juggling the half eaten apple and her thermos, she fought for the rental car keys all the way down the front steps.

She finally retrieved them and unlocked the doors, plopping into the seat. As she buckled herself up, she began humming that song again. She hummed and hummed, shoving the key into the ignition. "Oh my God," she whispered to her as she started the car. "I have got to get this song out of my head." The car roared to life and she was stuck in the driveway, repeating the only parts she knew to myself. "Jesus!" She quickly regretted letting the dark skinned goddess show her Twilight, especially since it was practically ironic to her situation. What was she thinking?
