for the rest of the afternoon the two siblings laid in gemma's bed and talked. first about what had happened to harry and slowly moved on to other random things.
harry always loved talking to gemma. she always knew the right things to say, she always made harry smile when he was upset. she knew about the bullies at his school and how it affected harry. she just didn't know what to do about it.
after awhile, harry began to yawn, he got up to walk back to his room when a thought made him stop. he turned back around to face gemma.
"do you think i should stop wearing skirts, gemma?"
she thought about it shortly, "no, because that's what you love to wear, all because people are assholes doesn't mean you have to change yourself for them."
harry didn't say anything.
"never change to please someone else harry. they should love you for you. and last time i checked there was nothing wrong with a boy wearing skirts." gemma ended with a smile.
he smiled back, "okay, thank you. i love you gemma."
"i love you more."
harry shut the door behind him before making his way to his room.
