Maya's POV

Riley is more than happy to let me come over. I'm excited to see the Matthews' and haven't sat in the bay window for awhile. When I walk in Riley bee lines to Rion.

"Hi baby. How are you?" She asks.

"I'm here too." I laugh.

"Oh ya." She teases and pulls me in a hug.

"Hart!" I hear Cory yell.

"Matthews!" I reply as I run up to Topanga and Cory for a hug.

"We've missed you and this must be Orion." Topanga says taking Ri out of his car seat.

"Ya."

"Maya, he's adorable." Topanga says.

"Thank you."

We sit and talk for a little bit then I pull Riley to her room. There it is. The bay window and I'm suddenly flooded with memories from when we were in middle school. I pull Riley to the window and we sit just like we always had. Riley with her hands folded neatly in her lap and me with my legs crossed.

"What is it, Peaches?"

"I'm sure you have some questions and I wanted to have a small Q&A."

"Okay. So I assume you left because you found out you were pregnant but why didn't you tell me or any of us?"

"I was afraid of your reactions. I was 17. I made a mistake and the last thing I thought would ever happen to me happened."

"Maya, we would've supported you."

"That's the thing. I don't think you would have."

"What do you mean?"

"Lucas." I say quietly.

"Lucas what?"

"Lucas is his father." I wait for her reaction. Instead of getting angry her face softens.

"Maya, I figured that he was."

"What?"

"Maya, he looks just like him."

"Riley, I had sex with your boyfriend back then. Aren't you a little mad?"

"Well, I mean, I'm a little upset but I'm with Farkle now. Lucas and I had already been losing interest in each other. I wasn't feeling the magic anymore and I knew he was in love with you. After you left we grew further apart as couple."

"You're not mad?"

"Maya, what's done is done. Even if I was mad it's too late. I'm sorry you felt like you had to leave. I never wanted that for our friendship. What you did, leaving because you wanted to protect me, means a lot." I give her a smile and we hug.

"Glad we got that out of the way. I really was dreading it." I admit.

Riley laughs. "On a different note, what's with you and Lucas right now?"

"I really don't know."

"Do you still like him?"

"Well, ya, but right now all our focus is on Rion. I don't want to rush things and end up ruining what we have. I want Rion to know Lucas. I want him to grow up with a dad."

"Maya, don't you remember what happened last time you pushed your feelings down?"

"I know but-"

"Just talk with him. Figure out where you two stand then go from there." Riley says squeezing my hand.

"Riley Matthews, when did you get so wise?"

"You missed a lot Maya Hart." She says smiling.
