Lucas' POV
Cass? Why did you say Cass? I left right after she left. I couldn't believe it. She told me she loved me. I've been waiting for her to say those three words since I met her and I totally blew it.
I'm pacing the floor in my room while Zay watches. He doesn't have to say anything for me to know that he's shocked and mad about what I did.
"LUCAS! OPEN THIS DOOR!" Riley. I was wondering when she would come. I heave a sigh and open the door.
"I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU DID THAT TO HER!" Riley yells as she hits me. She's yelling and talking so fast I can barely understand what she says so I just take it.
"What in the hell were you thinking?" Zay finally asks after she calms down.
"I don't know. I wasn't thinking-"
"You damn right you weren't thinking!" Riley exclaims.
"I panicked. I've been waiting for her to tell me she loved me since the day I met her. Then she finally said it. I didn't know what to say." I try to explain.
"You panicked and you said Cass?" Farkle asks.
"Yes. I didn't know what to say! What do I do now?"
"Obviously you have to do something. YOU she to tell her." Zay says.
"Well I already ruined it. I've ruined this too many times."
"And regardless she loves you. This should tell you something." Farkle says.
They leave soon after and I'm left to my own thoughts. I'm up all night thinking about how stupid I was. I don't know why on earth I would ever say that or more likes say nothing. I hate that I keep hurting her. I won't do this anymore though. Never again.
