If Richard's Friday did not fare well, it's the same with Maine, terno-terno lang yan

"Dapat pala sinama mo na lang ako. Kung nakilala ako niyang Joon-mo na yan, sigurado, 100% garantisado, forget ka na no'n ngayon, wala ka pang problem sa wedding."

"It's over and done with, Ate Kai. Paki-check mo na lang tong first article ko about the renovation."

Ate Kai approached her and looked over her shoulder."Let me see, let me see. Send mo sa 'kin teh at nang mabuno ko na ang malalim mong English." Her eyes wandered on the side and saw an open sketchpad. "Wait, ateng, ano yang mga drawings na yan? Ang gaganda ha! Ikaw gumawa nito?"

"Yan? it's nothing, just doodling."

"Anong doodling, eh drawings talaga yan! Ano ba, patingin! OMG to the highest level ever, eto ang finished product ng activity area sa kabilang building? Yung ipapakita mo kay architect?"

She grabbed the sketchpad and put it away. "Yes, in my dreams. The article, please ate Kai? It's my deadline today."

"May problema ba tayo? May something off with you today. At baka nagkakalimutan tayo, kulang ka pa ng kuwento. Wala pa tayo sa kilig moments, alam mong yun ang inaabangan ko. Yes, manong, what can I do for us?"

"May delivery po para kay Ms. Maine." The messenger was carrying a bag bearing the logo of a store. She recognized the branch, it's from the hotel.

The two exchanged looks when they pulled out the package and it was wrapped as a wedding gift. It got the attention of some of people in the office.

"Don't panic people, it just a gift, hindi kay Maine ito, sa Tita niya. Back to work, back to work. Diba may mga deadlines pa kayo? Mga echoserang froglets, nakakita lang ng wedding gift.... Kanino galing Maine?"

Maine had an inkling on who the sender was and true enough, when she opened the card, it came from Joon-mo. It's an advanced wedding gift with a reminder that he's waiting for the invitation. So much for keeping it a top secret wedding. But how did he know where she works? She handed the card to Ate Kai and immediately pulled up a page in her workstation.

"Hindi ba medyo weird na yang Joon-mo na yan? At hindi ba dapat paalam natin kay Ms. Terrie at kay Richard?"

"No, ate Kai, no SOS calls please."

Kai was returning the card on the package when she heard Maine gasped.

It turned out that she was looking at the Joon-mo's facebook page and his current post which reads ' When waiting for the wedding invite is taking forever. Less than 2 weeks to start forgetting you." Of course they cannot understand the comments of his Korean friends, but.

"Eh sira-ulo pala talaga yan eh! Masyadong papansin. Kulang na lang siya mag-announce."

Kakai took the matters into her own hand, kailangan itong malaman ng mga kinauukulan.
