Draco

Draco and Luna apparated to St. Mungos not twenty seconds before a female healer came bustling down the hallway. "Oh! Mr Malfoy! Ms Granger has requested your presence. She's in room 246. Right down the hall. Last door to the left," She said, pointing behind her. Draco nodded and waved goodbye to Luna before jogging to his girlfriend.

He knocked on the door. "Come in!" An unfamiliar voice called. It was female and very drawn out. If he wasn't already promised to someone, he might even say seductive. He opened the door hesitantly. He was greeted by a girl with straight black hair that went to her waist, a fringe that covered the middle of her forehead, unhealthily pale skin, light grey eyes much like his own, and a lean figure.

She had on a straight-jacket and was held back by restraints, which were chains on the wall. "Who are you? Is this Hermione Grangers room?" Draco asked. The woman smiled, revealing pointy fangs. Draco gasped. "'Mione?" He asked. She nodded. "Come here, Drakey," She said, attemopting to release herslef from the chains and jacket. He shook his head. "You're chained to the wall for a reason, love. You're not you right now. You might not be able to resist temptations and I don't feel like having bite marks on my neck," He said, laughing a little.

Hermione's face was stone. "At least come hold my hand. I promise I won't bite you," She said. The blond boy sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine," He said. He approached her with caution. He took her hand gently. He gasped and nearly let go at the touch. Her usually warm and inviting skin felt like ice. The felt like her insides had been replaced with ice-cubes.

Draco's hand burned at the sensation. "You're so cold," He whispered with strain dripping from his voice. Hermione frowned. "I feel cold. My entire body feels like I've just recieved the Dementors Kiss. I'm so cold, Draco. . ." She said shakily. He squeezed her hand. "You're going to be okay, Hermione. I'll make sure of it."

Hermione smiled. Draco was surprised at how much self-control she had. She was functioning pretty much the same as she did when she didn't have fangs. He knew why, though. Her moods haven't been modified to match her vampire persona yet. That comes later in the transition.

But, still. He was proud of her for being brace. Draco beamed at her. She was his and he was hers and it doesn't get much better than that. The girl let go of his hand abruptly.

"Can you get the healer, please? Quickly," She added. Draco nodded and rushed out of the hospital room. "Hello?" He yelled, looking around. A young man peeked out from behind a wall down the hall. "Yes?" He croaked. "Are you a healer?" Draco asked. The man nodded and stepped out from behind the wall.

"The patient in this room needs some help. She is transitioning from human to vampire. She hasn't gotten the moods yet, but she might be now. She needs someone to help her," He said. The man gulped. "I can't," He said. Draco looked confused. "Why? Isn't that your job?" He asked. The man nodded weakly.

"Well. . . yeah. But--" He started. "There are no 'buts' in this situation! You need to get in there and help Hermione!" He exclaimed. The man groaned and entered Hermione's current lair. Draco smiled broadly and puffed out his chest. He then stalked to the waiting room. What an interesting Christmas. . .
