"So you went on a date yesterday?" I asked
Dillon and I were chilling in his room watching some Netflix. We haven't gotten time to actually chill lately so this was much needed.
"yeah, I wouldn't consider it a date really"
"was it with that guy who was over the other day?" I asked "He's really cute"
"yeah him, but he's also really awkward"
"awkward how?"
"I don't know how to explain it. He just loves to hear about me, but he never talks about himself"
"aww, he just wants to get to know you better that's all. so where did you guys go?"
"we went to-"
"Guys!" Danielle said barging into the room "I'm bored"
She crossed her arms over her chest and pouted like a little girl.
"come join us" I said patting a spot on the bed
"nah I want to go out and have fun. Oooh, let's go to the club tonight" She said with a wide smile plastered on her face
"that's sounds fun and all but Adonis is still underage" Dillon said
"I still have my fake ID from my birthday, I can use that"
"Great so it's settled. We leave at nine, muah."
She left the room in a rush, I guess to get ready or whatever. I turned to look at Dillon who was staring at me with a disapproving look.
"what?" I asked
"you know he might be there right?"
"so what? He left and that was his decision, that doesn't mean I can't live my life. Like you said, I'm young and single, I should be having fun" I replied
"so what will you do if you see him?" He asked
"I don't know, but that's irrelevant right now. You know what you should do? Invite your new boyfriend, I'd love to meet him" I said grabbing a handful of popcorn
"he's not my boyfriend, and I'm not really sure I want to continue talking to him. By the way his name is Dylan"
"that's gonna be confusing, anyways invite him. I'll check him out and see what's wrong with him, but you're probably overreacting"
