"so...you look hot" I said to Damien who sat across from me
"yeah well I think you look better" He complimented
I don't know why but I feel so nervous and awkward around him right now. I guess because this is our first real date, and it's in public.
"Hi my name is Denise, I'll be your waitress tonight. can I start you off with drinks?" A young teen girl asked
"I'll take sprite" I said
"uh red wine for me"
"may I see some ID please?" She asked
Damien nodded his head then pulled out his wallet reaching for his ID. Denise looked at it then scribbled it down on her paper.
"how about appetizers?" She asked
"we'll take cheesy bread please" I said to her
"coming right up" She turned to look at Damien for a second longer then walked away
"aight you better button up your shirt before I catch a case with her" I said crossing my arms over my shoulder
"you?" He laughed "if anything she was checking you out not me. you must be delusional, she was giving me the side eye"
"so..." I said looking down at my lap
"Adonis why are you nervous?" He chuckled
"I don't know, I just want tonight to be special" I said
"it's already special, as long as you're here with me" He said
"what are you gonna get?" I asked picking up the menu
"I'm not sure, maybe steak. what about you?"
"something with cheese, I haven't decided yet"
"so what did you do while I was gone, I hope no one else was sleeping in my bed" He said with a stern look
"well there was one guy...his name was Ralph" I joked
"I hope Ralph has life insurance, nobody touches what's mine" He replied
"the only Ralph that's been in our bed is Ralph Lauren boxer briefs" I said laughing "but nah it's only been Dylan over, him and Dillon have been getting it on"
