Giselle
I was never much of a morning person and waking to the sound of those birds chirping made me more than just a bit pissy. I growled lowly. Damn those things. I was usually already very irritable, and I wasn't in the best of moods today.
All I wanted to do was sleep a bit and those things dare to chirp in our territory? You'd think as animals they'd have some sense in them and not be near this kind of territory?
Shouldn't their instincts tell them not to be near werewolves?
I let a loud growl that vibrated out the window to the annoying creatures. I'm pretty sure most of the people living in the pack house heard me. They knew today was not one of my good days.
I smiled as I heard silence and slowly drifted back to sleep. A sense of peace had finally taken over and I was back into my dreamless rest.
The door slammed open. I was shocked when my bedroom door bashed open. And there was only one person stupid and obnoxious enough to disturb me.
Now, most people knew never to bug me in the morning but this motherf--, "Good morning! How is our beautiful vicious she-wolf doing?"
Ugh.
Tony, the soon-to-be Beta after his father retires in a few years, a childhood friend, and the most annoying overly happy bastard in the whole world. He thinks that I wouldn't tear his ass another hole.
Well, Tony had another thing coming. He likes to act like he knows almost everything about me, but there are things that he will never find out and then there are just some things he doesn't want to know.
"I'm going to rip your spine out and beat your ass with it in about 5 seconds, if you don't get the hell out of here, Tony."
"What? It's my job to wake you up!" He made that overly annoying baby voice. "Besides if you kill me, my mate will cry and fall into a pit of despair. Have some pity for my beautiful Anna," he fake sniffled.
"Do you honestly think I would give a damn? Besides, she's human, I highly doubt she would not get over it. Humans get over pain eventually."
He had just found his mate two months ago, and it, unfortunately, made him more happier than usual.
"God you're cruel," he made another fake sniffle. I was quickly losing my temper. He was going to become soon-to-be dead. " Anyway, the Alpha called-"
Interrupting him, I said, "What do you mean my father called? I just did a job last night for him. Might I add an annoying one at that! The fat man literally started crying when I showed him all the dirt we had on him."
My father was not only an Alpha but also a 'businessman'. I happen to go to some of his meetings in his place for training. Of course, when they see a teenage girl walk in they become amused thinking it's some kind of joke, making rude remarks, but when they see all their dirty little secrets spread across the table, they quiet down instantly.
"Not only did I have to threaten the damn bastard to stop crying, but I also had to calm the old fart down to actually make a deal with him. Do you know how late the guards and I came back last ni-"
"Anyway," he continued. I swear to God if dad had not ordered me not hurt him, his bones would have all been crushed by now. "Your father- I mean the Alpha wanted you to give this invitation to Rain since all the young wolves in the pack house already have invitations for your birthday tomorrow."
"I have to give it to him personally? Why?"
"Because he's the only young werewolf not living in the main house and your fath- I mean the Alpha thought that as a future leader of the pack you should get along with everyone. He noticed your...animosity towards my cousin."
