*Giselle POV*

I smirked at how cute it was. No. It was beyond cute. It was downright adorable. My heart twinged at the sight of it.

Now you may ask me, just what is so adorable that has my heart and mind in a flurry state?

My almost-mate screaming in pain and running around like it was the end of the world. Yes. I loved how red and vulnerable he looked.

The liquid had exploded everywhere besides his eyes, after all, I didn't want him to go blind.

Poor thing, his face is probably burning and itching like hell. I told Tony not to help him, it wouldn’t be as amusing and cute if he did that.

I saw him trip and fall, causing everyone to make louder laughs.

My wolf was very upset by this. How can you find this the least bit amusing?

It's cute. I mean look at how he's trying to get the gunk off his face with his hands.

I think he's bruising himself. His nails are digging into his skin!

He's a werewolf. He'll get over it.

I heard her growl, but she didn't bother talking to me after.

Just then, Tony's mate, Anna, showed up beside Rain. She helped him up and it appeared they were going head to the direction of the nurse.

She bowed slightly to me as a sign of respect and apology and turned away quickly. For a human she was catching on pretty fast. I turned and saw an angry Tony.

Wow, that rarely ever happens.

I smirked, "What?"

"How could you do that?"

"Because I wanted to," I said and walked away.

*Rain POV*

Hell. It was the only way to describe. Not only did I here laughing all around me, my face felt like it was going to come off.

First, it came as a massive itch, but then when awful burning sensation came in I felt like I wanted to die.

I was trying to claw my skin off, at least that way I'd be more comfortable. Even though my eyes were fine, I was tearing from the pain.

I went hysterical, the pain was intense.

I started to run like a madman until someone stuck out there shoe and tripped. I didn’t fall on the grassy part as I had hope, instead my hands and knees crashed in to the the concrete pavement.

The laughter got louder.

I just wanted to disappear.

Then I saw a warm hand on my shoulder. It was Tony's mate, Anna.

She helped me up and led me to the nurse. Our walk there was quiet, though my face shocked some students in the hallways. I still felt like scratching my skin off, but I controlled it, if I went hysterical, Anna might get hurt.

The nurse wasn't in the room, but Anna was an assistant there, since she was a Senior.

She sprayed some liquid on a large cotton pad and started rubbing my face. Instantly, my skin was soothed. After she finished she put some kind of cool cream on my face, it felt so good I literally purred.

She giggled, "I thought you were a werewolf, not a cat."

"Sorry that was me, not my wolf," I grinned

She smiled a sad smile, "Since your werewolf, those bruises will disappear in a couple of minutes. I'll go inform the rest of your classes you'll be in here for the rest of the day. I have to go to class in a couple of minutes but the nurse should be here by then, okay?"

I nodded.

She went to the computer and started typing emails that were going to be sent to my afternoon teachers. I couldn't help but be happy for my cousin. He got such an amazing mate.

She stood up and gave me a kiss on the cheek, "Seeya later," she said with a smiled and left.

It was hot in here, I decided to take off my shirt. Being a werewolf with really hot body temperature had its disadvantages.

I layed down on the bed and drifted off to sleep, dreading what's to come today and tomorrow.

------------------------------------------

"Hey."

I woke up from my light nap to see Tony.

"Hey."

"Here's your backpack." He tossed me my bag. "I'm sorry."

I looked at him in confusion, "For what?"

"For not being able to help you."

I snorted, "It's not your fault. Besides I should try to take of myself. Your only three years older than me, not my guardian."

"Still-"

"It's fine. Get back to class before you get in trouble."

He nodded his head and silent went out the door while giving a quick sad glance.

I wondered why my cousin even bothers trying to be nice to me. He was one of the most popular and nicest people in both the school and the pack.

He really didn't need to worry about friends.

"So you're okay, huh?"

That voice. Giselle.

I sighed, "What do you want?"

She smiled, "I just wanted to see if you were okay." She was scanning my body.

"Yeah right."

She ignored me. "For someone who's never trained a day in his life, you're naturally lean aren't you?"

"Why are you really here?" I asked impatiently.

"For a proposition. One you and I will both like. Even your mom will like it. All you have to do is be smart enough to except it?" Her eyes didn't leave my body.

"What exactly is it?" I question suspiciously. I knew I shouldn't be trusting her, after all that happened today, her being nice is not a good thing.

Her smile got wider.

"Well we all know you aren't qualified to-"

She stopped abruptly. She just stared at me and then at something behind me.

I turned and saw a mirror on the wall. She was staring straight at my mark at the lower end of my back.

"What is that?"

I raised a brow, what she talking about my birthmark?

"You mean my birthmark?"

She raised a perfect arched brow, "You honestly don’t think that's a birthmark do you?"

"Well considering my mother said I was born with it, so I would think so."

She just stood there for a moment and left without a word.

I was confused for who knows how many times again. I looked in to the mirror and saw that my bruises had disappeared, and then I looked at my glasses.

It was going to be hard explaining this one to my dear old mum.

I sighed.

I really do hate her.
